He has high expectations for his students and genuinely care about their success. His tests are difficult but as long as you read the chapters, it's pretty easy. He is full of crazy stories and makes the subject entertaining. Really focus on the research portion if the project because that's where the points are, so don't stress on the presentation

The tests are the biggest issue to me in this class. I normally set the curve, so they weren't horrible. If you read the book and take the online quizzes from the publisher, you will do fine after the curve. The final project is a big portion, but he is easy for grading that. The first part of the project is the hardest, use demographic databases.

When I got my first test back, my stomach dropped to my toes. Until he put a 30 point curve on the exam. His class and tests are made to be tough, but he's honestly the best teacher I've ever had at Ferris. I don't think I've ever learned so much from a single class or respected a teacher so much. And the final project was actually fun!

Pros: He is experienced in his field, likes telling stories, somewhat inspiring (but to be honest most of his stories are vague and never enough details to check). Cons: Test based on reading the textbook although always saying that based the lectures too, it is not. He gives big curves, like 25 points 3 times. Project instruction IS NOT CLEAR.

His tests are probably some of the hardest I've taken in college. He uses "Power tests" to weed out students that shouldn't be going into marketing. Expect to not do well on his exams, but we never had less than a 25% curve. One of the best teachers I've had at Ferris, without a doubt.

A very proud teacher who is good at what he teaches Even though he sometimes goes off the PowerPoint, he does manage to tell very interesting stories that you can actually apply to help you on the tests. I would surely take him again because he is there if you need him to be.

Pros: Seems experienced, interesting stories. Cons: Almost everything. His tests are based off the book. Book feels like was written decades ago. He's inconsistent about how he lectures. One day powerpoints, next nothing. He grades tests on a curve. Wouldn't need to if he was actually organized. Also, huge project that he doesn't explain clearly.

I fell asleep in this class almost time. His lectures are extremely boring and he uses no visuals like powerpoint to guide his lectures and also to help his students take notes. I could not keep up, so I ended up taking very little notes in his class. Exams are extremely hard and unpredictable, you never know what will be on them. He curves though.

One of my favorite professors at Ferris. He is not only interested in students, but very interested in the work. I had to work hard for my grade, and the exams aren't a walk in the park, but they are manageable. He also gives a grade bump if you attend every class AND the final project is the most heavily weighted grade.

Easy class but tests can be hard and not much over the book material. They are short answer questions. Just make sure to pay attention when he lectures and gives handouts. Make sure to READ THE RATE CARD ;)

Do not take! Rambles on for what seems like forever in class. He knows what hes talking about, but does not know how to teach it. Doesn't referrence anything from the book in class and he just reads off of the powerpoint, which he hands out. Only thing good is that he curves, but thats not that great seeings how most of the class is tanking on exams

Good professor. Not an extremely hard class, but you get stuff out of it. For tests, READ THE BOOK. His lectures aren't what he tests on. His tests are difficult, but he cuves them, so if you read the book and study the material in each chapter, you will get an A.

90-100% of the test material comes directly from the book, but he will curve the test A LOT (up to 30 points). He tends to use handouts a lot to give you notes, which helps understanding. He's a nice guy and he knows what he is talking about. You can miss 6 days of class without being penalized, but missing no classes = 20 extra credit points.

His lectures can be ridiculously boring, but he really knows what he's talking about. Don't bother taking notes, because his tests are strictly from the textbook. The tests also have a huge curve applied to them. Term project can be hard, because he hands out a work packet that is hard to comprehend. I would probably recommend him though.
