What a professor!!! The sweetest and kindest man. So incredibly passionate and intelligent. A real doll. Fantastic feedback. Always willing to lend a hand. Textbook is a must, review it. Show to class. It can be boring at times, but he is a saint. Just do the work, contact him if you need help, and you will pass with flying colors. He's funny too!

QC is fortunate to have this professor, honestly, he is just very very knowledgeable, really wants his students to do well (he is very approachable), nicest man ever! He doesn't want students to lose any pts towards their grade &he gives many many chances to make up missed work (no penalties for late work). DO NOT take advantage his kindness.

in class assignments (easy--read an article and answers questions on it), 1st hw: write topic proposal (1pg), 2nd hw: bibliography (copy&paste abstracts of articles u chose), 3rd hw: Literature review on at least 3 articles (4pgs), 4th hw: everything together just edit it and add your own research design study. Exams: 1 midterm, 1 final. that's it!

If you need to take Socio212W this is the prof you want to take it with!! Seriously! If his class is closed go see him, he has no problems adding you into his class. Very nice man and very intellectual. He is not strict about APA format. He only asks 5 pigs for the final research proposal. Other prof ask for 12+ pages & have a format to follow.

He is an old man but trust me, he will read every single word in your essay. You will learn so much from him thou. He is there to help you, will make things clear of you gladly. He loves to teach and he is great at it! If you're a good writer you will excel in this class. The midterm (mc) and final (mc & essay) were tricky.

Professor Savage gives great feedback and room for improvement on his assignments. Assignments are not tough. Four piece assignment throughout the semester. Also has a multiple choice midterm and final. Lectures are long but filled with useful information. He is a very kind man willing to help in anyway he can.

the class is not a easy 'A' but an easy 'B'. You have 4 papers, midterm and a final. The essay 1, 2 and 3 lead to paper 4 which it the final paper. Exams are not that easy but he gives a curve. You have to study in this class... But the class is not bad and you leave with a lot of useful information. He is better than other soc212 class.

Dr. Savage is a brilliant and cordial man. He knows the subject of Sociological Analysis in and out. Unfortunately, the material for 212 is painfully boring. Which is a huge bummer for Sociology majors. The assignments weren't difficult, but the midterm and final were tough. Take this course with Dr. Savage! You will get through it!

Prof. Savage is a really great professor, he has extensive knowledge on the subject and teaches it well. The 2-3 papers aren't too long and he grades very fairly! the midterm and final are direct from lectures and readings and are straight forward. I would highly recommend taking Professor Savage for SOC212, you won't regret it.

Very good professor, he really knows how to teach a college level course. The material can be a little mind numbing but really its just a lot of common sense. The exams are test bank question multiple choice. The papers are easy, just fill in the blanks and turn it in on-time.

he's got passion for what he does but for students it's a bit too much. i mean, if u r not thinking about becoming a sociologist, it's little heavy. exams are hard, and there aren't much for students to do about it except to have the same level of passion for the subject. otherwise, you're doomed, you non sociologists!!!!
