Comment:
The first thing is do not buy the online textbook! It is a waste of your money. Prof. Rich has notes that thoroughly explain every concept and graphs that go along with them. If you study that for each of the 4 tests, you're golden! He explains each topic very well. The class does have a tendency to be dry. I do understand econ now.

He is a nice guy, tries to make the class fun, but I found it very boring. He rambles on the whole class and does not explain things well. I took tutoring and that really helped. If you can I would avoid him.

This is that course that you really should get an A in no matter what. Super easy economic concepts taught by a kindly old professor who goes at a slow pace. I would recommend not buying the online textbooks because the handouts he gives in class teach you everything you need to know in order to get an A.

This class was so painfully uninteresting that I couldn't even pay attention. He tends to ramble on when he tries to explain things, but he's a nice guy and an overall decent teacher. Not terribly hard, might've gotten an A if I bothered to read the book, but I didn't and got a B.

Great professor. Had him for ECO 103 and got an A. You MUST go to class because the tests are solely on the material he goes over. I never read the text after the firs couple weeks. He has a lot of corny jokes and funny examples, but he tries very hard to help the students understand the models and answer their questions. Very nice teacher.

I give the guy credit because he tries to make the topic interesting but it doesn't always work and he does trail off alot onto wierd topics. Overall the class isn't terribly hard but you do need to go to most of the classes in order to get good grades on the tests. Reviewing the handouts in class is the best way to study for the tests.

Really corny teacher. He trails off all the time which makes it hard to concentrate. He tries to be funny and relate to students but doesn't succeed very often. The material is somewhat difficult and his tests are medium to hard difficulty. You have to put in effort and work for your grade.

I wouldn't necessarily say this class was easy but I was able to pull of a B in the end. His notes are really confusing so you almost have to go to class every day to know what he is going to test you over and to really understand the material. Grade is over only 4 tests, so make sure you study for them and you will do fine in the class.

You know how some teachers are awesome and try to make things interesting, but they can't just because the subject itself is so boring? That's Dr. Rich and this class. He uses easy examples and is a lively guy, but his notes are kind of unclear and the material is pretty boring. If you have to take ECO 103, get this guy.

Econ is never interesting, but this guy made it very easy to understand. He relates the situations to everyday college life, like drinking vs. studying...if you can relate the material to familiar situations, like he does, you'll have no trouble passing this class.

This class varys amoung the individual. I would reccomend this middle core for anyone who took ECO 105 and did alright. This guy is passionate about econ and uses songs and funny examples. If you study the handsouts the tests are pretty easy.
