Coté was a nice teacher, she can be a bit intimidating if you let her. Took her for Cognitive Psych and although it looks like a lot of work, she gives you enough time to work on each thing. Beware: chapter quizzes from the textbook, so be prepared to read.

Although this class was very tough for me, Dr. Cote helped me out every time I needed help and she always made sure I walked away understanding the material and not just pretending to. She is a very nice lady but can be intimidating if you let her.

Oh, for God's sakes. Cognitive has a lot of depth, but Cote knows her stuff, keeps it interesting and is always willing to give you time. Also, an A is easy because ALL OF THE EXAMS ARE TAKE HOME. If you had trouble with PC306, it's a personal problem, not the teacher.

Going into this semester I was a psych major and thought I would enjoy Dr. Cote's class based on what I had heard about her. However, her classes are unnecessarily hard. If you aren't a psych major DO NOT take classes with her. Taking a class with this woman has convinced me to change my major. What a ridiculous waste of my time..

Dr. Cote is an extremely challenging professor, but the hard work one has to put into her class always pays off. I took her intro class for my core requirements, and ended up falling in love with Psychology. The depth of her classes even at an intro level gives students a real grasp of the discipline, and makes every class interesting.

first of all, i don't know what kind of masochists like this class. 2nd- ya'll should get ur vision checked if u think she is or ever was good loooking. it wouldn't have been so bad if the class was actually good, interesting, or informative but it wasn't and busy work in college is ridiculous.
