One of the very best professors at Capital. I take all of my history classes with him. His lectures are fascinating, and you will learn so much. He's an easy grader, just so long as you do the papers. I highly recommend any class by him.

Dr. Maroukis has incredible passion for the subjects he teaches and has first hand experience interacting with different cultures and visiting other countries. He has a fantastic sense of humor and is truly a good person. Keep up in class and ask questions and he'll be sure to know the answer.

Dr. Maroukis is a great professor, and will liven history up a lot. He does stress over students grasping the significance of major documents in US history i.e. the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the diary of Fredrick Douglass.

Dr. M was one of the best professors I had outside of the Conservatory! I wasn't looking forward to the class, but he made it really interesting and I ended up learning quite a lot. Awesome teacher.

great professor! very verbal about his beliefs and encourages others to express and examine their own. i loved his class, very little busy work, review for the test covers most of what is on the test. read and show up for class and you'll be just fine.

Had him a few times. His classes were always interesting. As is supposed to happen in college, he got you to think outside the box and not use cliches:) Especially enjoyed his Native American class. I also enjoyed playing basketball with him. Would definitely like to split a pitcher with him at the Leipzig Haus.
