Professor recently became department head. As such, more of his time was spent dealing with that and not so much dealing with class. You can expect that most work wont be graded right away and wont be given back quickly. That being said, if you do the work he asks, it can be an easy "A." Graded more on effort than anything else

Dosent know anything about this class. He goes over powerpoint as "note" but he doest ask you anything from the note. When student asks good questions he tries to not answer it because he does not know it. His labs are hard, he does not help you at all Dont take any class with this fool.

Professor Todd knows everything to do with PLCs and industrial automation, his downside is that he stopped staying current and now lacks the knowledge of modern PLCs. This is frustrating for students. Overall he is a great teacher and gives easy tests, if you study. In this class you either understand everything, or are completely lost.

I've had Professor Todd for 4 classes now in the EEET program at Ferris. He is the same for every class. We had a project to automate a conveyor line. He will hardly cover the materiel in lecture, so you have to do all the research on your own time. My group finished the project but we spent a crazy amount of time. Be ready to teach yourself.

This prof is one of the worst I have ever had. He has no discernible interest in the student and from the way he teaches does not seem to want to see the student succeed. An interesting perk is his forgetfulness between classes. He cannot seem to remember what he taught during the previous class session. Avoid at all costs!!

this is the worst instructor I ever had. His classes are wasting time. He does not know anything about materials, and his teaching skills are so poor. He is pretending that he cares about student, and always complaining about them writing skills, but the truth is that his writing skills are so poor. avoid this****.

I withdrew from this class because of this****. I could not withstand this man any more. This man clueless person and i don't know why students did not complain him to the dean office. forgetful, lazy, and he doesn't prepare his class at home, he does it prior the class.

all what you have read about this instructor are right. This is the worst instructor I ever had. I don't call him professor because he is not. A kid from high school will teach better than him. My advice to the person who is reading my rate for this subbed is if you looking to take control courses , find another university to get your degree.

Terrible teacher, always shows up to class and forgets something. He uses power points in his lectures and all he does is read them to you. Loses track of what he's talking about very frequently. His labs don't teach you anything. His tests are extremely hard and based on material that he did not go over. Worst teacher in the department.

I will never understand how this man is still teaching. He knows nothing about electrical stuff. All his quizzes are done online because he's too lazy to do it in class. The labs are a waste of time. I don't think he's capable of plugging in a toaster.

Todd teaches all classes in the automation track. He reads power point slides if prepared otherwise reads from the book. Board knotes are not helpful due to lack of preparation and organization.Continually makes excuses for his forgetfulness. Does not hand assignments or test back in a timely manor. With preperation would become a good teacher.

Not impressed. Ask a Question, about the PLC5 he asks you how it works.. He is clueless... He tells you to do things, but he donst even understand what he is asking you to do...( Finally, he loves to give test questions that he donst cover in class...
