I think Noonan-Day was an okay professor, although if you want to do well on the tests you have to show up to class consistently. Even then, the test questions were so random you never knew what to expect. Thankfully, she curves the grades on them so you are more than likely going to do alright on them. Overall, she was a solid professor. Nice too.

Heidi is my favorite professor that I have taken here at UNI. She cares so much for her students and it really shows. She is a great lecturer and is extremely knowledgeable about her content area because she has had so much experience. She uses her own personal cases as examples of class material and it really keeps class interesting! Loved Heidi!!

The only points are from exams, and exams are focused on stuff talked about in the lecture so definitely go to the lecture! You learn so much anyways it doesn't even feel like a chore to go. Her class is always so interesting, and she's so nice and easy to go to if you need help. I didn't read the book at all, so wouldn't recommend getting that

Noonan-Day certainly is energetic and makes lectures interesting, but she has the least clear grading criteria and structure of any class I have ever seen. Test questions were completely random and subjective. If you enjoy clear, structured courses, avoid this prof.

Heidi is by far my favorite professor I've had at UNI. And, it's one of the few classes I feel like I can actually apply to the real world. She doesn't grade on much, and her exams are a little difficult. Just take good notes, and you'll be fine. Wish I could take her again. Enjoy it!

Heidi is a fun and interesting lecturer however she really blew it this year in MGMT 3100. She claimed the class did too well on the first test and rounded everyone down by 8 points. Syllabus wasn't clear. She believed people were cheating on the tests and added 50% questions from class questions unrelated to Legal & Soc Envir Of Bus. Worst @ UNI.

Although her class was interesting and the lectures were quite entertaining, her teaching is outdated and a bit misinformed. She seeks approval from students when it comes to her beliefs, she has you raise your hand in agreeance with her, it was just offputting to provide her with validation. Would prefer to have a UNI pol-sci professor teach this.

Poor communicator. Syllabus and exams riddled with typos, errors, and conflicting information. Lectures are easy to follow because she literally reads straight out of the packet. Exam questions barely reflect lecture information and have a lot of errors. Takes forever to grade things and ends up curving everything at the end. Overly opinionated.

Although not an easy A, her course causes you to think critically about the way the world works from the lens of a business-person. Tests are aligned to the lectures, but the book also adds to your knowledge.

Heidi is the real deal and very knowledgeable. Her lectures are interesting and she keeps students engaged. I would recommend taking Leg and Soc with her. She teaches things that you will want to know in life, no matter what your major is. She cares about her students and wants to see them succeeed.

Noonan-Day is a very good professor who is lecture heavy but keeps them very entertaining. She knows her stuff and knows how to teach it. It can be hard to follow along at times because she doesn't use presentations. The tests are difficult but graded on a curve.

Noonan day lectures purely off of opinion, and test questions are completely different from lecture material. She makes this class much harder than it needs to be, and she also has no clue how to use blackboard. Stay away

Heidi was great at keeping the class engaged throughout her lectures, but she is a very opinionated professor. She grades very subjectively, especially on the paper you write. Exams are tough, and she even includes her own opinions within the questions she asks. The same work/effort is graded completely different based on the student.

Overall not a terrible class, mostly discussion-based. Tests are a little tricky since it is mostly discussion and hard to remember course packet material. She does her best to let everyone talk and have an opinion. I enjoyed going to class.

Tests are hard, but heavily curved. Test questions are 85% lecture, 15% textbook so take good notes. She never takes attendance, so if you miss class then get notes from someone else. Very fun and involved lectures.

You can't go wrong with Noonan-Day. If you have been looking for a class to exchange educated discussions and arguments, this is it. She gives off a ton of information and her tests are difficult(and curved). Unless you're pre-law, the things you learn from this class will guide you for the rest of your life. i.e. "DON'T DO THAT!"
