Great guy and a great teacher. I had him for ACC101 and 102. He is funny and tells interesting stories. For me personally, he has made a huge impact on my life. I can't say that about any other professor. Thanks Prof. Cassel!

In the fall of 2001, I was one of Mr Cassel's students. Absolutely the best instructor ever. He explains difficult accountanting concepts in easy to understand terms (make no mistake, you have to study the textbook). He has a fantastic sense of humor. If you want to have fun and learn something, take this course!

I agree with the last post. Me and my girlfriend took his class last semester & he is a scary person. I think all the years of teaching may have gotten the best of him. Maybe he is just too friendly, but as long as he has been teaching, he should know better.

I took Mr.Cassel for ACC 101 & ACC 102. Got an A in both. I don't know why he has anything but excellent reviews. If you actually try in his classes he will do anything he can to help you - not only in the short term but in the long term. Encouraged me to continue my education. Forever thankful to him. You will learn in his classes.

What a great teacher. He was captivating from the first class. He makes a dull class exciting and upbeat. Tests aren't that bad as long as you've paid attention in class. Very witty character. Reminds me of the comedian Lewis Black. He keeps your attention and reiterates topics to make sure you are understanding. Truly a great teacher. Kudos 2 him!

He is definitely a great teacher. Class can get boring sometimes but I found his stories entertaining. The tests arent hard if you study the review packets. He is very supportive and helpful when he sees you are trying to make an effort. I would love to take another one of his classes.
