Straw sucks! He expects nothing but the best from you. He is a walking textbook. He wants perfection. If you're ready to excel, take him, he will get you through the course. If you are looking for a "show up to pass" grade, keep looking. He expects you to be better than him at the end. Best teacher I've had, but makes you work for it.

Strew is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is always willing to help even if it's not about what we are learning. Help me out with a lot of out of school work I was doing. If you just watch what he is doing in class and take notes you will do good.

Straw is all about hydraulics electricity powertrains and everything. he's the first to tell you that he knows nothing about engines, but he's been very helpful on those to. smart guy. Take him if you can, he wants you to pass

the "old guy" is good, he has stories to tell and they all have a point. He likes detail. Listen to what he has to say and remember it for the tests. This guy will bend over backwards for those who want to learn something. he is the best I've had at penn college. he's hard but I passed Hyd I and doing good in hyd II.

Very smart man. he was head designer at jcb so expect some technical work in his hydro. classes but he is fair, supplys you with a lot of useful info. on the topics and makes you think outside the box.

Mr. Straw is one of the best professors that I ever had. He is always willing to tutor students on his spare time with troubles that the sutudents have understanding projects in Powertrains and Brake Lab. He is very kind & respectful to the students in both theroy and lab.

He is a F***ing A** wipe that will not admit when he is wrong. Will fail you if you actully challenge his teaching in class. He enjoys failing students when they are half a percent from passing the class.Will fail half the class and not care.
