Explains things very clearly, the HW assignments are reasonable. HW was harder than quizzes and tests in my opinion, if you can do the HW then you can get an A in the class.

extremely organized. every class she has notes printed out and organized for the section we're gonna go over. she explains everything very clearly. amount of hw is reasonable. quizzes are given after 2 or 3 sections. tests (very doable) are given after each chapter. if u take time to review the quizzes and the hw ull do fine.

Along with Wayne Sherman, she is one of the best in Miramar college. She teaches very well and goes over all types of problems so that HW will be easy to do. Had 4 tests, 8 quizzes that were really easy since they were over 2 or 3 sections each and she drops 2 of them. Just do the HW and study her notes and tests/quizzes will be easy

Her teaching method is horrible.The way she organizes it guarantees you to be behind all the time. She teaches way too fast. We always learn new material the days we have quizzes or tests always BEFORE we take the quiz or test so your not paying attention because your worried about her test.Shes nice,but doesnt make up for her bad teaching method

ABSOLUTLY AMAZING! By far the best teacher I have ever had! Very clear and helpful. She reviews everything thoroughly and there are no surprises on the test! I learned a lot without having to stress over studying so much, because she went over everything in class! Thank you Mrs. Trainor.

Professor Trainor was probably the best math teacher ive ever had. I went to class and took the notes. Shes very nice and everyone who has to take Calc 1 should definitely take her. Wished she taught Calc 2, but whatever.

If you are the type of student that learns straight from the book and not from lecture, like me, you will miss a lot of information which will be covered on tests. If you want to do well in her class, be prepared to write lots of notes and read and practice from the notes she gives you. About 70% of what comes on tests comes directly from these.

If you feel hard in your class, you cannot pass other Math for sure. She is amazing teacher. She always shows up every problems in her lecture so take it you gonna be fine for the test. Although have test and quiz every day but she just makes you use to the fomula you learn. One of the best teacher in Miramar. Take her class and have fun with math.

One of the few good math teachers out there. Her schedule and course is very well laid out. She is willing to work with students with any questions. Tests are non-calculator but for calc you don't really need one too much as it is more of algebra work but with a calculus twist. Homework is optional but highly recommended to do. Highly recommended!!

I had to retake this class but when I retook it with her, she made everything clear. She even review's over old stuff from precalc. Her test's were fair only because you couldn't use a calculator. She makes you smarter in the end. Only thing that sucks is that when it's a quiz night, she'll hold you over the end time of class. She's cool though.

This is a hard class, but she teaches it well. If you are going onto higher math classes, take this teacher now. She doesn't allow calculators on tests so you are forced to learn the theorems. You will have a much easier time in math 151. She gives hard tests with lots of questions but she grades fair. Most math teachers suck...she doesn't.

This is by far the best math teacher I have ever had. She is thoughrow and clear. I cannot stress the importance of doing the take homework, this and the quezes acount for a major portion of the grade. Srudy hard, she gives generous partial credit, but you need to learn the identities etc. to do well on the tests and final.

Very good Teacher. Always explains everything very well. You will have to work, Calc is not supposed to be easy but she makes it as simple as possible. Gives a lot of quizzes, but she lets you drop some of them. Plus she always goes over them so you know what mistakes you made.
