The professor does not care one bit about the success of his students. For lectures, he throws up old youtube videos from 10-15 years ago. We get very little feedback, no lectures, and unclear instructions. You're paying for the credits and nothing else, you'll have to navigate the entire class on your own with no guidance or meaningful feedback.

If you want an easy A, take his JavaScript class. If you want to actually learn, skip it. All of the assignments involve copying codes from the textbook and forced message board discussions. His "teaching method" is to use student assignments and have the students provide feedback to each other. So boring it's nearly brought me to tears.

Online class with weekly discussions boards and assignments, either 2 tests or a mid-term and project. Some assignments can be lengthy and time consuming. Confusing method of uploading everything to a FTP server to submit work. Material wasn't so hard but too much work in a given week to focus on the class. Will answer emails promptly/very helpful.

There shouldn't be so much reading, writing journals, and chatting in a coding class. I took another programming class & learned more with less busywork. This is the sort of class that gives online classes a bad name - he's muddied his content with so much junk that you're mostly focused on getting through it. Killed my buzz for it, disappointed.

His course is highly-flexible, which allowed me to choose the non-technical path. I learned the basics without needing to struggle with the programming. I'm a designer, not a programmer. I liked the flexibility!

For the final project, you have choice between doing a PowerPoint presentation or doing a doing programming exercise. I chose to do a PowerPoint presentation. I struggled with doing the exercises but I got an A- in the course. I was the only in the class that did a PowerPoint presentation.

90.302 Intro to Javascript. The class is bogus. All assignments are "type in verbatim this example from the book." There is not learning or using your brain for assignments. Projects, however, and very difficult and not based off the book at all. Be prepared to spend hours googling examples so you can hack something together.

Very dry, monotone voice. A soft-spoken guy who is sometimes difficult to hear. His tests are very difficult, even though they are openbook/take home. It still took me 4 + hours to complete them. He will, however, take time to help you if necc. The book was pretty useless, may want to save on that.
