Prof B new his stuff, but gave grades based on how he felt not on the work done. It is highly recomended to read the chapter then study it before everyclass. He will be upset if you do not know the answer. I had to dedicate twice as much time to his classwork.

Extremely fun teacher, opens ever class with a humorous video/movie clip. Show up to class with the chapter(s) read, and turn in HW to angle and you can pass easy. Drops lowest test grade. Goes over all tests. Helpful. Get an A on all test and you dont have to take the final. Highly recommend. Extremely smart guy.

Took this class in Spring of 2010. Prof Brengle is a great instructor, but you have to be willing to dedicate a bit more time to reading and studying than usual. I suggest this class if you are truly interested in preparing yourself for higher level IS courses.

Amazing professor. I took the class to see if I would like Information Systems, and he sold me on it. The class was fun an interesting and he did an excellent job. I have yet to run into a better class. Lots of work but it was very fair and doable so I rated it as "easy."

I love his class! He is one of the best teacher I have ever had. HW is time consuming but it's only because he wants it to be a repetition so you'll learn. Keep and study the quizzes because it's all in the final exam. He is funny and not boring at all...=)

Very great professor. A nice man who has a very keen interest in teaching about computers. Assigns a little too much busy work, but gives a lot of extra credit. Teaches with powerpoint lectures derived from the text. Will rarely if ever put something on the the test that he didn't discuss. Very clearly outlines everything you need.Would take again.

Prof. B. can be a stickler with grades but that's because he wants you to LEARN and not just slide by. For a 200-level course, this was no problem. He is a no-bull teacher but has a huge passion for what he teaches. He seriously uses the same 3 essay questions for EVERY test. Can't get better than that. Recommended, if you're willing to learn!

Great teacher. Teaches from powerpoints and lectures. Easy stuff as long as you read the book. Tests are easy 4 A's and NO final. Very helpful and understanding. LABS are good for new learners but are time consuming. Lots of homework but it is more time consuming than hard. You will learn alot that you will use everyday. Im changing major comp scie

I love Prof B. He is really funny and has a great personality. You really have to read the chapter/take some notes if you want to do well though. Study hard- if you get an A on all 4 tests, you don't have to take the final! Any questions, just email and expect a quick response. Willing to offer help at any time. I definitely recommend him!
