Seriously the worst prof I have ever had, lectures are pointless you pretty much need to teach yourself the whole course. Tests are irrelevant to what you talk about in class, avoid if you can.

Definitely use the textbook and go to class. Very interesting and easy to listen to. Notes in class are minimal but important. KNOW HOW TO GRAPH.

Glenn comes across as the seteroypical grouchy professor but he loves to engage his students. His exams can be a little tough.

Glenn is a boss. He goes off topic when he banters with students, but overall solid prof. I'd definitely take his class again.

Glenn is a very kind prof, he's a funny guy but i hate how he didn't post any notes. All he did was draw graphs, and write 4points about it, that would be irrelevant to the exams. I taught myself econ101 basically through the textbook. Assignments were brain dead easy: tip, use GOOGLE.

Genn was a great teacher. We were rushed for time near the end of the course, but he still covered all the material. He is great at using real world examples to help you understand the course. There are three pop quizzes throughout the course so you have to show up to class.

He's a good prof, and usually gives easy assignments and tests. The only negative is he chooses students and puts you on the spot to answer questions.

Glen is a great professor! He makes Econ interesting. His midterms are ridiculously easy, as well as the assignments. You need to put in work for this class though, if you study and do your textbook readings you can get an easy A. Make sure to show up for class though, or you won't pass.

On the fence about him still. He doesn't have proper notes, though exams are heavy on knowing how to graph (which he does in class), but it is an easy class. 6 online assigns, picks best 5. 3 pop quizzes, picks best 2. 2 midterms, easy enough if you studied at least an hour before. Just come the day before, of and after the mids to do pop quizzes.

He is a good prof. He doesn't have any notes which kind of sucked and you need to go to lectures but on the bright side the lectures aren't boring because he usually makes them interesting. Sometimes the criteria for exams can be a bit confusing but if you attend class, read and do the assignments you'll do fine.

Glenn's lectures consist of reading the newspaper, drawing on the board, and talking. Be prepared to participate (he is known to "volen-tell" students). If you don't understand, ASK! He is great at clarifying and explaining concepts multiple ways. Visiting him during office hours will help drastically, he even gave me additional exam tips/hints

Decent prof. He has no real notes, he just draws graphs & explains them - learned mostly by reading textbook/study guide. There are pop quizzes & the tests reference class discussions so attendance is mandatory. He likes to put people on the spot to answer Q's & will call you out if you show up late to class so beware. Tests are tricky but fair.

Decent prof, learned everything from the textbook though. Gives online assignments and pop quizzes, so if you go to class that's an easy bonus. Has no notes, just draws graphs and explains them. Talks really fast and brokenly so I took all my notes from the textbook, but did overall pretty well on all exams.

Really enjoyed his course. Just get the online copy of the textbook though because he didnt commonly use it in class. He made the course interesting as hes worked in the field for so long, his examples were great.

when you ask him a question, he never answers. His responds my constantly asking you the question. Explains nothing in detail, rambles for hours about random stuff. Roasts on students all class, interrogates you if you come in late in front of the whole class. DOESNT PUT NOTES ON BLACKBOARD. YOU NEED THE TEXTBOOK.

Glen is a good teacher, he made economics easy for anyone to understand. His lectures are long and mandatory, but they are interesting, and he applies a lot of the course material to realistic situations. My tip is to do assigned readings BEFORE class, because he only talks and draws graphs by hand, no powerpoints.

I really enjoyed Glenn's class. He's an extremely brilliant man. Keeping up with your readings is crucial. Doesn't post notes on blackboard or in class, so make sure you write down what he is saying because it will show up on the exams. He does online assignments which are an easy grade booster, and he also does random quizzes in class. Cool dude
