Comment:
This class isn't difficult but it is intimidating. Everyday you will be asked to freewrite, group up, and discuss that freewrite. There are homework in between, either a one-page summary or an analysis paper that's about 10 pages long. It's not too challenging but if you're the kind that needs to follow a syllabus, it's best you find another course

I took Creative Writing in the 1980s with W - She was wonderfully inspirational with an incisive mind and a transparently compassionate heart.

As my only comment, I leave you WORD FOR WORD one of the assignments I received from this professor: 1. Pick up your cellphone. Turn it off. 2. Stare at your cellphone. 3. Analyze the physical phone the hardware. 4. Using 2-4 keywords, write a 10 page paper on your phones physicality with 12 footnotes.

she was always personable and ready to talk. in class she seems crazy and all over the place. never on a one topic but many on the same time. IF YOU CANT DEAL WITH A PERSON WHO JUMPS FROM ONE SUBJECT TO ANOTHER DO NOT TAKE PROFESSOR. she is a easy grader, all you have to do is be inspired in writing. never is clarifying, have to respect her.

Comment:
She was very hard to understand but as you spend more time in class you start to catch on. She is very scatter brained and easily gets off topic. She assigns a lot of essays and never posts grades online. If you want to know how you're doing you have to ask and it's rare to get an answer. Other than that she was very nice, just hard to take serious

very intense and kind of crazy during class, but VERY nice. willing to help if you ask and can pin her down for office hours. assignments vague, but intentionally so (i think). class time can be stressful, is never relaxed, but she does have a sense of humor, if you can recognize it. all in all- good professor if you can tap into the wavelength.

She was my instructor in several "classical rhetoric" courses. Always she was state-of-the-art, always she was very enthusiastic about her field. I learned much not only about rhetoric but also about being a professional. I never felt a need to "suck up" but rather got along best by working hard.

Completely full of herself, arrogant, and of no use to students, unless she considers you one of her lackeys.

She's great if you can deal with a little craziness. If you have to have everything ordered and predictable, avoid her classes. Her passion for writing is inspiring and she really makes an effort to include everyone from first-year MA students to finishing PhD students.

My experience with this professor was extremely unsatisfactory. The best thing I can think of to say is that it might almost be worth taking a classical rhetoric class from her if nobody else was teaching one. For anything focusing on technology, stay awa

She's a complete flake and never feels the need to clarify anything about her assignments. Avoid her like the plague -- she's not interested in undergrads and seems to only teach because she *has* to.
