Comment:
He's one of the smartest, most insightful individuals I have worked with. He has very dry humor that can be hard to keep up with if you don't know him very well. The material he covers can be tough since he pushes you to really do a lot of work on your own. He wants you to bring the creativity. He will not provide it for you.

Comment:
Ray is a character, alright. He's very philisophical, abstract, and crazy. However, he is able to see things and pick up on things that many people can't. In directing, when a student is stuck on something, he can point out something that really fixes everything. His critisizms can be harsh, though.

Comment:
Ray knows what he is talking about, however he does not articulate it well. He hates freshmen on principle, and has zero respect for students. The best way to get a good grade is to feed what he says back to him. Ray's opinions and ideas of theatre are not wrong, however he refuses to acknowledge other ideas. He is has been known to power trip.

Comment:
Munro is HORRIBLE! He is often rude, disrespectful (he doesn't come to class on time, even though he expects us to), and very hard to understand. He springs assignments on you without notice, and they're long and arduous. People with learning disabilities shouldn't take this class - you won't understand him at all. I should've dropped this class!

His classes were pretty interesting. The lectures are a bit tedious but if your attention span can hold on, he gives you a lot of useful information and future references for acting and directing.

Comment:
Ray's a little bit on the crazy side, but in a good way. He's a really good guy, and he definitely knows what he's talking about, he just has trouble sometimes articulating it. His classes are good if you really want to be an actor or a director, but kind of pointless if you're only interested in either as a hobby.

Is this a joke?? Will we actually do ANYTHING this semester?? Am I really spending $30,000+ to do Yoga exercises? It's amazing my brain hasn't atrophied yet.
