I took him for Peasant Studies and he makes the information very interesting and worth learning and you can tell he is really interested in the topics. Mostly he wants you to get the general concept of what you're learning, so don't feel like you need to memorize names and dates. Just listen (you'll want to) and take a few notes and you'll do fine.

Rob Sauders is an awesome professor for Cultural Anth! More importantly, he takes an applied contemporary approach to the subject so we may better apply it to today’s global society. Great lecturer, text – also assigns article readings, shows films, and encourages class discussion. Shame he’s leaving NOVA, but will do well wherever he goes. :)
