Comment:
Took this class over summer. This class moves at a fast pace especially during summer, moving through multiple chapters in a week. Prepare for a lot of work. Yes he has an accent but it never caused any issues for my understanding. Hes responsive and understanding, as long as you put in the effort. Not an easy A, but doable. I would recommend him.

This is the WORST lab TA I have ever taken a class with. He has a terrible attitude when responding to emails, blatantly ignores you, and is just a horrible educator. DO NOT take a class with him. His teaching style is Im not going to explain anything and you have one chance to guess how I want things done. He should not be teaching anything.

Great professor. He does have an accent, but not hard at all to understand what he is saying. I did not take physics in high school so it was a new world to me. He is very helpful and even stayed a few minutes after class to go over questions. The homework is online, multiple choice and you have 2 attempts. Tests based from lecture notes and HW

Do not let the previous comments discourage you. Professor Dibaba is straight to the point. Every class there are 3 to 6 in class equations to be turned in during class. Homework is online and you get two chances. His lectures are straight to the point. Tests are mostly multiple choice. No surprises and I appreciate that from Dibaba.

He's nice BUT his tests are tough. His lectures are so fast and when you stop him he does get frustrated. I guess he assumes everybody learns physics quickly. He focuses a lot more on lab than lectures. I wouldn't have taken him if I had known this. Take him if you are great in math or physics, otherwise you will struggle.

The previous comments were discouraging BUT He was actually cool. His accents not even bad! All of the tests are on the notes taken in class. Study those and you'll do great! He does make many numerical mistakes, so its a good thing he's not an accountant. Work for the grade u want. Physics isn't easy but he made it FAR easier than others would. JS

Comment:
Unorganized, unclear on things, hard to understand. Strict on grading. Only looks at the final value/answer. If wrong IT'S WRONG! No credit for being on the right track. Questions on exams are all weighted the same (10-20 questions). So, better not miss too many.

If you are a human copy machine/mind reader and do everything exactly as he would have then you'll be fine. He is tough to understand and doesn't explain grading/problems to every student the same way. He does have a bad accent and doesn't like when students question him too much about the material and why something is the way it is.

Not very clear, didn't explain things very well. But he was pretty accommodating when I had to miss a test. Labs and homework were easy, but tests were pretty hard.

The professor posts all power-point lectures and he teaches what he posts. He presents the lecture and then presents questions from the text book for discussion. He normally gives a chance to re-do missed home-works. I liked the way he solved problems in an organized way. He gives reviews before tests. I recommend his class .His grading is fair.

Extremely hard to understand and he gets frustrated when you ask him to repeat himself. Does not give clear explanations when you ask him to clarify or go over and equations a second time. Expects you to already know Physicsits a 110 class not a 400 level class. Though labs are easy but still DONT TAKE HIM!!!

He's not a bad professor really, but he does have a thick accent. However, he tries his best to explain things clearly as much as he could. His class is fairly doable to be honest if you're not a physics major.

This professor is very hard to understand. I didn't get one clear explanation in the whole course. Makes everything way harder that what it is and is not flexible at all. This is what you will get if you choose him as your professor.
