Comment:
Dr. Zhang is passionate about what he teaches and definitely is familiar with what he teaches, but he doesn't know how to teach. He also struggles with lectures, bouncing around all over the place. You need the book(you can find it online with a quick google search) labs are pointless because you just copy the code from the book.

Comment:
He unfortunately is a terrible instructor. I love Dr. Zhang as a person but his lectures have no A to B type format. Instead they follow an A to Z back to M over to Q type of format (they are all over the place). He believes he is a really good teacher so it almost makes me feel bad saying this but he is terrible. Do better than half the class!

He runs in circles during lectures because he doesn't prepare for them. He's very passionate about the department and student success which is great so that's why he needs to stick to department work. The guy truly can't teach. Just actually do and understand the example problems he assigns for homework and you'll be fine.

You won't understand much of what he says and I really didn't get the exam. Study all by yourself. Makes us do the programming in the lab but it is all in the book. Also have to buy the book. Not such a tough grader. He will also give out quizes.

Comment:
Dr. Zhang is very enthusiastic about the study of Electrical Engineering. His lectures are good but can get boring at times. He sometimes goes on tangents about random topics we never used in class. Otherwise, tests are fairly easy (Only 4 problems primarily from the C programming book).

He's an ok teacher. If you ask for help, he'll try to explain. Dont ask too many questions though, otherwise he gets annoyed. There's only two tests, the midterm, and the final. Neither are too easy! We needed the C-Programming book, which was listed as recommended.

Some accent-barrier, but not much. Listen in class, read your book, and you'll do fine (for my class). Grading is not too clear. There are better choices for professors, but he is alright.

Had this guy for 2 classes. A bit hard to understand at first but you get used to it. Subjects taught by him are hard but he is a fairly easy teacher and cares whether or not his students learn. Only time I've ever had trouble with him was when he was 15 min late for a test and still expected us to complete it with the remaining time.

Comment:
Very poor in explaining the material. Very highly demanding, extremely monotonous and stereo typical. Huge language barrier. Terrible class. When i got a 90/100 on a test i was told it was not good enoug and that i will have to do well in finals or will fail the course. Repeatedly scares students of failing the course.Makes easy matetrial hard.
