Comment:
Rude professor who had the audacity to monitor our evaluations at the end of the semester! He was more focused on African American studies (not the focus of the class) and basically skimmed over everything else. He lacks charisma and will put you to sleep with his monotone voice.

His Class was easy to pass There is alot of great information and you learn a lot from this class, However he lectures and you haveto take notes because you'll be quizzed on it. His lectures are very hard to follow and his hand writting is so small that a lot of times you have to guess what is on the board. He lets you take open note quizzes

Professor Watson is an awful teacher. His class is really easy because all you have to do is regurgitate information. If you try to go beyond that and use critical thinking skills to analyze/discuss something, he will shoot you down immediately.

Dr. Watson was a very nice man, however his teaching style was not for me. Its difficult for him to keep eye contact and his lectures are extremely boring but important in order to pass his class. You don't need the books or text to pass the class because i passed with an A without them.

Easy topic, didn't really use text book, used other books, not really necessary. He mumbled a lot, would've been better with a blk history class. Seemed to be more concerned with the blk movement than anything else. Course had great potential, but not from him.

Honestly worst teacher I have ever had. This man may be an easy teacher, but that is because he doesn't teach, gets off on unrelated tangents and has definite affinity for African-American students. He got off schedule and never recovered, will not assist Caucasian students, and has such a soft voice that he's difficult to hear and understand.

It's obvious how excited he is about this segment of the past, but he drags on more than is necessary and is, at times, incredibly hard to focus on. He stammers and pauses and will randomly walk to the other side of the room and talk in a whisper, making it impossible to hear. Easy tests since you can bring an index card and it can be typed.

The most boring professor ever. Its hard to stay awake during his lectures, but as long as you go and take a few notes, the tests are relatively easy. Still, not at all an enjoyable class. Its definitely not necessary to buy the textbooks, you can get by without them.

This class is relatively easy, but the lectures are really tough to get through. If you have no interest in History this is not the class for you. Tests and assignments are generally easy and work load is comparatively low. I didn't buy any of the books but I would only recommend doing this if you are willing to work extra hard to complete the work

This was the most boring class I have taken so far. But if you go to class you should pass the quizes and test. No need for the 4 books he requires its all n his lecture or sparknotes. He is a very dry, boring teacher, but the reviews for test are surh to help you pass a test or quiz.

He is a great professor. He makes the study guides exactly like the tests. the class before the tests he has a review session. These are very helpful to go to. He gets on tangents and gets off topic very eaily. So much in fact that we were supposed to get to year 2009 but we only got to 1959.

If you are a visual learner, do NOT take his course. He writes little to nothing down and lectures as if he is telling a story. Hard to follow in lecture and very boring to listen to.
