He is my favorite professor. I've taken him twice and I've loved his class. He does get sidetracked, but it's a nice little break from what he is lecturing in class.

He called on me over and over in every class. He was heavy on storytelling and talking, so no learning actually happened. Dr. Denton was not shy to calling people out and embarrassing them if they zoned out and didn't hear a question. Seemed as though he only learned a few names and only called on them throughout the semester.

He is an amazing professor who cares very deeply about his classes & students. He gives chapter exams, but provides study guides, so if you read & use the guide youre guaranteed to pass. Hes also understanding of personal issues; as long as you communicate with him he will do everything to help you. Hard to reach outside of class so talk in person

Very well-versed in all 3 classes I had with him. He was readily available outside of class if you had any questions or concerns about class. The information taught in the class was both useful for a future educator, and interesting. Definitely cannot wat to take more of his classes.

Dr. Denton really seems to care about his students and his class, and always posts his lectures (Powerpoints) on Blackboard for students to review. Most of his tests are not based on the textbook, but rather his lectures. He is always willing to revise or remove test questions to help his students get better grades.

I've had 2 classes with Dr. D and he makes it seem like he is well-versed in the material, but he isn't. I purposely signed up for a different professor because he would stereotype and make false judgements, yet I ended up in his class. Never again!

I have taken two of his classes so far and love him as a professor and as a person. As long as you show up for every class you will pass with a great grade. 2 or 3 tests for the semester which are super easy. Always uses a powerpoint, but gets off topic easily with different stories. Overall, any of his classes would be great ones to take.

I was very disappointed in his both his courses especially for being at the Graduate level. It seemed as though he put these courses on the back-burner while focusing more his other commitments. He was unresponsive to emails. He never gave feedback on assignments and provided no grades. EDUC 537 is NOT a Graduate level class.

I've personally worked with Dr. Denton in and outside of a classroom setting. Bottom line, if you're willing to put in the time to prepare for class, Dr. Denton will be more than accommodating. However, if you don't come prepared to class, he is going to be as uninterested in your grade as you are in his course. Great guy.

Dr. Denton isn't very interesting, but it's clear he knows a lot about the subject. He's willing to accommodate if you can't meet deadlines. His exams are easy as long as you read the powerpoints (I never used the textbook). He's an overall nice guy, but if he doesn't know your name before the semester begins, he doesn't try to learn it.

He is a very nice man but a terrible teacher. He wastes a lot of time during in class discussions, so we are always behind schedule. He almost never returns and written work. Not a good professor!

Stanley is a wonderful mentor and teacher. He is personable and always offers help to those who need it. Although course material is difficult, he spends as much time as necessary to make sure the point is clear and comprehensible. He allows grade adjustment on exams if the class feels there are unfair or unclear questions. Minimal homework.

Did not offer extra credit that all students could take advantage of and became a little testy when asked about the extra credit points we WERE offered. Had obvious favorites and would lose his temper with people that questioned/disagreed with him. I also found some of his "in the trenches" stories unbelievable. I was disappointed in this class.

He was unreachable, dry, and unclear about expectations. I tried to get feedback from him on a number of occasions at to the final project and he neer got back to me, when I treid to meet him outside of class he was too busy. Due to him never giving be feedback on the project I got a Low B on it and he refused to allow me to make corrections.
