This class in general is not hard. Read the article, show up and discuss it. What's hard is the build-up to writing a 15-page research paper at the end of the semester, but that becomes standard for a 3,000 level course. Great man, hilarious discussions.

Dr. Fritsch is a very intelligent man. He may not be for everyone, but no one ever is. He does lecture quite a lot, but is lenient with grading and is also understanding about things that may come up. He will put as much effort in as you do. 10/10 I recommend him.

I love Fritsch. He doesnt really show up to class, as there are often complications. However, this is the coolest man I have ever met. Hes unintentionally hilarious and very fun to talk to. If we actually paid attention, wed learn stuff. Well start doing that. Exams were straightforward, and he grades papers leniently. Bless this Austrian man.

A little unorganized but overall a great professor. Switching to online changed some things but overall I enjoyed the class and would recommend it. Might be a bit boring if you aren't interested in political science but he makes the concepts easy to understand.

We are wayyy behind in the syllabus should have done 8 papers by now and has only done 2 so I am interested to see how he is going to catch up. Goes off on tangents during class often and hard to follow if not Political Science major. Bad at emailing back. Has weird way of taking attendance that differs from syllabus. Overall not a great time

My first experience with Stefan was him not showing up the first day of class. His curriculum is very unclear, but still leads very enjoyable lectures that keep you engaged if you're into the topic. Very funny guy. The final paper was brutal in length and content, but he recognizes that and grades more softly. Also really knows his stuff.

Really funny, really cool guy. He's from Austria so he has an accent. As long as you go to class and take notes, you'll be okay

Students will enjoy enthusiasm for global/international political economy, but he doesn't teach in a way that makes the information conducive to actually learning it (coming from an education major, especially). He was also supposed to assign ten research activities, but only did five, and tried to make up for it with one AND a paper DURING EXAMS.

I took this class online. Professor is a nice guy who communicates through email. He travels alot so assignments were rarely posted on-time, but he always gave ample time to get the work done. He doesn't like to grade papers, so that was untimely and it was hard to know where you stood until it was too late to ask him how to improve your scores.

He is a really funny guy and has a real passion for what he is teaching. Seems to be pretty liberal but gladly listens to your opinion. Is a pretty hard grader, but if you go to class, read the book, and study, you will be fine.

Wonderful professor, he is more than willing to explain further anything you ask about. If you're not comfortable speaking in class, he is also willing to correspond via email. Stay on top of work, there won't be that much of it. As for exams, you have to know the material at more than a cursory level. He'll help with that.

Dr. Fritsch is, hands down, the best lecturer I have ever had. He is witty, extremely intelligent, and always friendly. I have taken two of his courses, and if I could would take more. In fact, I would sit in on his lectures for fun--either a testament to my nerdiness or, more likely, to Fritsch's engaging presentation. Highly, highly recommended!

In our class he required attendance. In fact, it was a healthy fraction of the final grade. I thought the course was a bit disorganized, probably due to the fact that he was frequently absent. That aside, he has an interesting perspective and it is fun to learn from him. Invites your opinions.

An all around good teach and good guy. He is not that hard to understand. He is also very funny. The classes are easy, no attendance and almost never any homework. Exams are fairly easy as well. Take this Prof for any class he offers.

Hes a transfer professor from Austria, so the ONLY problem is trying to understand him. However, he makes up for it with the lack of homework, notes given online and no attendance (so you can skip the entire semester if you want), and if you actually enjoy POLS, its interesting to hear a european talk about american politics.
