Easy A. I literally have no idea what most of these people are on about. Assuming you know how to get stuff done in college by now, this is as easy as it gets.

This is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. Some people on here are calling everyone else "lazy" for getting a bad grade. This is not the case at all. She is ALWAYS a few minutes late, never explains anythings and the highest percentage of the class to get a clicker question right was 50%. Youtube is a better teacher than her. Avoid her!

Professor Sharma is a nice person, but I think the grading procedures for the class are a bit unfortunate for students. There are 3 tests plus a final. And attendance grades. That is it. No classwork. The tests are multiple choice, but they are difficult. Attend class to keep your average up.

I thought taking astronomy would be interesting but this professor makes astronomy the most boring subject in this universe.

The main things for this class is the online coursework. Their is a lot and that is where you learn most of the material. The test aren't terrible, but the weekly quizzes with the TA are insane if your unprepared. The time in class though you hardly learn anything, because not explain very well. Forget about office hours cause she is not there.

Here is the truth. It is a difficult class, but so are a majority of classes. Most assignments are mandatory so do them. The best place to go is the Burson lab because people will help. The only reason I don't think she is the best teacher is because when we had a guest lecturer everyone understood what was going on.

I took both 1101 & 1102 with Dr. Sharma. Class is easy; show up and do the homework. Pay attention in class you will get an A. Both classes where easy A. She is very nice & easy to talk to. If you have questions, go to her office. I think most people complain because they are lazy. If you skip class & homework, no one to blame but yourself.

I did everything in this class. Before the final I had a High A in this class however because I was late to the exam.. I couldnt finish and I received a 25 on the final which gave me according to MOODLE a 76 in the class However I somehow still failed this class. She doesnt respond to emails and if she does its weeks later. VERY UNORGANIZED

Her teaching style is very difficult to understand. She expects you to come in with a broad understanding of the material. Her lectures are very confusing and hard to follow. If possible, get another teacher!

Out of almost 4 years of taking classes, she is probably the worst professor I ever had. I've never had a grade below a B. I find it very difficult to follow her and the problem sessions never align with the lectures. I definitely do not recommend this professor on any ounce of hope that you will pass her class.

Dr Sharma is very nice, smart, and helpful. People complain probably because they are lazy to do the work. As long as you do webassign, expertta, study for problem session, and actually go over her ppts you will be fine. She gives plenty of time to complete hw/quizzes, not to mention drops grades and gives extra credit. Chegg helps.

This was the worst class ever. She showed up five minutes late to every class and tried to teach over the time limit. It was pretty much impossible to pay attention in the class.

The amount of work is overwhelming. Hybrid learning- two web components (Expert TA & Webassign), clicker questions,& "mini" tests every week. Her lectures are muddled and all over the boards, she will post slides but you can't decipher them afterwards. Problem solving session is about the most helpful thing but mostly you need to teach yourself.

Lecture, Problem Session, Online HW, and Lab were not in sync with each other. Concepts were introduced at different times in each type on meeting. I only missed one class, did all of the HW, and read the material, but rarely knew what was going on. Ended up with a B somehow (I made a 52.5 on the final). Exam was MUCH harder than the problem sets.

Not a easy class because it requires a lot with quizzes and homework but if you have the time its not to bad and if you have any question the teacher does not mind helping you if you go to her office on your own timem or email her. I found her very helpful even tho I did not understand in lecture sometimes. I passed the class it is time consumimg

To say the least, I am surprised that I received an "A" in this class. It's not any easy course and the professor is not very approachable or friendly. But the TA's can help you out a lot. Although slightly annoying, you must do all homework and lecture quizzes online and on time, it will actually help you. She is more lenient than you think...

If you are a good student, take Sharma. There are a lot of whiners that take this class as a requirement. This was literally one of my easiest classes ever. There are a couple of equations you need to learn each week and if you buy a Chegg account (you're allowed) then homework is easy.
