Professor Allegro is one of the best professors I've ever taken so far! He's very funny, grades easily, and motivates you to do your best. I took the class as a cognate, and would recommend anyone else to take it!! You will need the textbook, but he usually reviews stuff before the exam / the lecture before the exam, which is very helpful!

If I was going to take this class with anyone, I'm glad I took it with Dr. Allegro. He is a really easy grader and his exams were really easy if you read the book. Only annoying thing is that he doesn't use blackboard. The class also kinda sucks if you're not into film-making though because a lot of your grade is based off two short film projects.

Super easy class. Take him out of all other teachers for this class! You don't even have to show up. Class lectures are interesting but nothing really that is on the test. He gives you a study guide with exactly what could be on the test and it's pretty much word for word in the book. Tests are super easy & short, only 3 a semester.

This class is extremely simple if you just do the projects and pay attention. The quizzes and tests were short answer and based completely off the study guide. He's a lenient grader and gives tons of freedom for projects. However, he's slightly unclear about dates, instructions, and information. I learned more from the book but enjoyed the class.

I had Tony as a professor. Honestly he is extremely pompous, narrow-minded and myopic artsie fartsie guy that plays favorites. Remains one of the worst professors I have ever had. Totally out of touch with the real world.

The class concerns the advocacy of ethics, primarily in journalism. It can be somewhat interesting and the professor, an obvious liberal, welcomes any subjective response or opinion from the class. It's an easy A plus the workload is only a minuscule. Come with an open mind and I'm sure you will enjoy the class.

Such a great class, we just watched tons of great documentaries about a variety of different subjects: Marilyn Monroe, Versace, Leni Refienstahl. Tests are essay exams, but very easy. I definitely recommend

He is a very nice guy who teaches with a very liberal point of view on life, govt., and speech. We did have great in-class discussions. The class is really more or less a discussion/debate of COM topics. COM 250 had one test (picky material but easy), one project (easy), and essay final (easy). He loves Documentaries and esepecially Netflix!
