Comment:
Horrible professor. She gives assignment after assignment with only powerpoints as her way of teaching. An extremely hard grader. Get ready to spend hours and hours doing homework just for you to get a bad grade. She has you study a chapter or two at a time and gives a 50 point quiz. There are no study guides so you have to know everything. 0/10.

NOT COMPASSIONATE. you are a # only. During our pandemic we have assignments on being compassionate for the aging & old. she shows the opposite. I got all b on exams. But she controls the assignments. Don't expect compassion, but expect a cold blooded heart. I missed only 1 assignment during the COVID 19. She is also DISCOURAGING!

Comment:
I would not recommend this teacher for future nursing or psych majors. She talks down to her students. She doesn't explain projects clearly and grades outrageously. I worked on my last project for 10 hours and she flunked me. She is very rude and said that "I think like a kid".

Ling Yi is very tough but honestly she's so educated that it is inspiring. At fist I could not stand her course. I felt that she was so unfair but she has made me a better student. She challenges you and makes you work hard. I appreciate her ways of teachings because I can apply them to other classes. Make sure to get on her good side.

The class was not too difficult. Simply pay attention and read the chapters before the tests, and you will do perfectly fine. People say it's hard but I easily got an A. Sure she is strict and may be tough at times, but it's nothing unfair or unmanageable.
