Excellent lecturer, excellent and fascinating course material. Class is fairly easy most of the way through, except for the god-forsaken final essay - one week, 6 pages, 3 outlines. He can be a little draconian, though he's never rude. Luckily, no one project is likely to sink you, so if you screw up too badly on one, its only worth about 10-15%.

Professor Wimberly is a great professor and has very interesting subjects to discuss in class. Does provide a lot of reading materials but you have sufficient time to complete them

This class was great, we had lots of group discussions which really helped us learn more because we used real-life scenarios. half of the class was online; 2 quizzes once a week. if you watch his lecture videos and listen in class (which is easy to do because he makes it so engaging), you will definitely get a high grade. I definitely recommend.

Great professor, learned quite a lot. 2 weekly quizzes. Cant stress this enough but annotate the readings COMPLETELY. If you know how to manage your time you'll be fine. Has outside online office hours , take advantage of that. The drag would be the lecture videos since you will only see him once a week.

Dr. Wimberly is a great teacher but his weekly work load is ridiculous. Every week you have to read and annotate between 15-30 page readings, you have to watch 30-50 min worth of video lessons, and he gives you a quiz on each thing. You have 5 essays to write and one group project. Get ready to work but you will definitely learn. He's not that bad.

Dr. Wimberly is one of the meanest professors I have ever taken!! He is a tough grader and he doesnt give out any extra credit... other than that he makes us take TWO QUIZES every week!!! However he is a good person but that really doesnt matter when it comes to this class... I dont recommend taking him if you want an easy A....

Dr. Wimberly is singlehandedly the wisest person I have ever met. Class is once a week & he assigns weekly readings and quizzes which are not difficult if you actually pay attention. Overall amazing professor.

Every week you'll have a packet of reading to read and annotate then take an online quiz along with an online video quiz, but they're super easy! Read and watch what he assigns you. If you don't pass a reading quiz he will let you turn in your annotated packet to get a passing grade at the end of the semester.

There were quizzes each week based off readings he puts up online, not hard you just have to read. No tests, only mid term and final which are essays. The mid-term is split in 2 sections. First part is a 2250 paper (easy if you keep up with readings) and the second is a group project. The final was a 1800 words (also easy). Overall easy.

Dr. Wimberly is likely the most overall intelligent person I've met. He will definitely inspire you to become a more active citizen and make an impact in your local community. All the readings were provided for us (no books!) and he also took the time to make really awesome PowerPoints. Class consists of essays, group projects, and presentations.

Amazing professor!!! Not a philosophy major but I learned SO much from his class! Definitely recommend, but you're going to have to work for your A! Gives about 2 quizzes every week, is very hands on in class, you have one group presentation, and one 1,800 word essay as your final. Tough class but definitely worth it!!

He is really strict on essays, very picky on how you write them so beware! The class itself is a bit challenging and my semester with him felt like the students were lecturing the class. I had a bad expierence however he isnt horrible... hes a ok professor.

Dr. Cory is strict when it comes to written assignments. He provides all the readings for his course and very easy to talk to. He really cares for his students and only wants them to get an understanding of philosophy. Very accessible outside of class either through email, blackboard messenger or office hours. 10/10 would recommend him.

This was my first upper-level philosophy course! He has the visual posted on his blackboard. so you can always go back and look at it. Certain classes he has the video lecture for on YouTube. 2 presentations, 3 papers. THAT'S IT! Not a hard class if you put in the work. He's very helpful.

This was my first time taking Dr. Cory Wimberly. He is a great professor and very helpful. He is always in his office during office hours. I really enjoyed his classes. There's a lot of reading in this class but of course there is! It's a philosophy class but he's amazing and awesome to have discussions with! Weekly quizzes on the weeks readings.

Learn from my mistake. This professor is very strict on papers and is a tough grader. Be super careful with your papers. He WILL accuse you of plagiarism and report without giving you a chance to explain. Even if it was (in my case) Self Plagiarism. Lectures are ok, but not at all an easy A.

Horrible! DO NOT TAKE HIM! He is a tough grader. I was .07 of a point away from a B and he didn't give me a B. Very disappointed with him. We also had to write, A LOT! So if your ready for that, by all means, and don't say I didn't warn you!
