Literally the best professor Ive ever had, online or otherwise. Super personable, easy to reach, gives feedback right away. One of the few professors I have had online that felt like they genuinely care about what they are teaching and made an effort to help his students. If I could take all of my classes with Dr. Bouvin I would.

The course had 3 or 4 essays. Some two pages, some five. It felt like he graded off participation because I don't think my essays were strong, but I received 97s. Only two responses required for discussion posts and can be done on the same day.

Content in for MKTG 307 was actually pretty interesting. There is a forum and a 5 page paper due every week. The forums were always great topics, the papers on the other hand the subjects could be harder to research or come up with content for 5 pages. If papers are easy for you, this class will be a breeze.

Comment:
There are too many papers in this course. It gets exhausting after a while when you have to write 4 to 5 pages each week along with the readings and discussion posts. It would be nice to get some variety in homework such as adding some PowerPoint or short answer assignments. The instructor also grades pretty slow.

Great teacher that actually takes the time to read your posts. He is a fairly easy grader, however you can't sleep through his classes. There is not a ton of required reading. I really enjoyed his class and would take it again!

I had no quizzes but had a 5 page paper every week from weeks 1 - 8. Professor Bouvin gave great feedback on what I submitted and my grades improved when I incorporated his remarks into my work. He is easy to reach when you have a problem or a question. He provides great ancillary material to help students retain the lesson material. Great class.

Very heavy workload. Every week you have a paper due and a forum post, bi-weekly quizzes as well as an extra paper due for midterm and Final. Professor was very active in forum posts and available through messages replied promptly. Grading is fair based on rubric, put in the work get an A.

I have taken a lot of classes from professor Bouvin. There are 5 page papers due every week on top of forums as well as a midterm, final, and quizzes every other week. You definitely have to read in order to do assignments. Only downside is he takes a while to get grades in, but this is understandable due to the fact that he has other classes.

Weekly forum discussions and a 4-5 page paper (includes cover and reference pages) due weekly. No quizzes or tests either. I didn't do the final assignment and passed with a B.

Overall, enjoyable professor. But, there are papers due every single week. Although, they are only 3-5 page papers. So, not too bad. Just participate in the forums and submit the papers and you'll pass easily.

You'll have weekly forum discussions that aren't difficult; respond to 3 students and you'll get 100%. NO tests/quizzes, midterm, or final. Weekly forum discussions and a weekly paper. The papers are 4-5 pages and that INCLUDES your cover page and references page. Final paper is a Power Point exam. I elected not to do it; still passed with a B+.

Had 8 papers/projects in this class. 7 papers each 4-5 pages and a 4-5 slide PowerPoint. Slow to grade and gave poor feedback on papers. Participation in the forums matters. You should do more than the requirements if you want to get over a 90. He posted on my posts every week, but typically waited until late Saturday or Sunday to do so.

Really caring professor and not a tough grader. There were seven 2-3 page papers, plus a final paper 5-7 pages, plus regular forum posts each week. Even though they were short papers, it made the class tiring. Some interesting class content which made things a little easier.

Course work was not difficult, but plentiful. 5 essays (4 to 5 pages including cover and references), weekly forums and 2 quizzes. Don't expect grades back in a timely manner or any feedback. Overall, easy class if you do the work. Pay attention to APA citation or he will drop points.
