She is a very bright individual. She offers very genuine, quality feedback, but you have to hunt her down for said feedback. Pursing her became exhausting to an extent as she canceled on me several times in a row. She does genuinely have good feedback and discussions are rather enjoyable, however understand almost communication out of class

Terrible professor. Somewhat hard to contact. She expects 2-3 page professional perfect essays to be written every week on simple discussion questions and is a tough grader. Papers you start writing the night before aren't acceptable. I've wrote better papers than any in highschool and she told me I was failing.

Professor Roulette was a terrible professor for the mandatory Seminar in Composition class for freshmen. She was near impossible to contact outside of class, left early often and provided rather limited feedback. I had no idea how I was doing in the class until after final grades were released, as she was unable to meet with anyone to discuss it,

Her lectures don't make sense at all because her thoughts are all over the place. Does not usually answer emails and when she does it's not very descriptive. Tough grader because she is heavily opinionated. Can't even pronounce the simplest words. Overall bad experience with the class

I came into Pitt thinking I needed the class just for my premed requirements. But Ms. Roulette showed me how logical and reasonable writing is. I really got into the writings, doing the 6 page essay assignments and working towards writing better. i started out with a B but ended up getting an A-. A very inspiring professor. :)

Lisa is the best teacher you can possibly choose for Seminar in Composition. As a freshman, she made me feel comfortable and made me love attending the class. She stimulates one's thinking and presents endless ideas for essays. She is always accessible and does care about her students. Her criticism is sometimes harsh but always gives great advice.

Class discussion for the most part. Really nice lady, and she makes the class really interesting/fun. Her quizzes were insanely hard, but the exams were incredibly easy. An A is not too difficult to get, and a B should be guaranteed.

Awful professor. Missed a bunch of classes. Said she'd give many pop quizzes, but only gave one. Never gave anything back and final examination was a complete joke. She left the room three times during exam and left us alone.

Just don't bother with her. Discussions were sometimes interesting but you never get anything back and class is pretty much a joke. We only had one quiz, midterm, final, and 6 page paper. Bottom line: take someone else

Dramatic Imagination = total joke. whoever said not a slackers class is retarded. ONE day a week class and she missed four. Never gave back first paper completed Jan 21st, now April 15th. Grade is arbitrary. No organization. Break for smoking tho is plus. Write down notes adding words every ten seconds only to realize the words don't make sentences

Awful professor. Lost papers often and graded arbitrarily. If you don't have the same opinion as her, you're wrong. I would not advise taking this class.

she was entertaining, but demanding. she doesn't like the people who just sit and never participate. if you are one of these people, she will constantly call on you and make you read out loud

Made Shakespeare interesting. Discussion-based class made learning impossible to avoid and assignments were easy if you read the plays. Very open-minded, but also disorganized and completely arbitrary final grade. Not a class for slacking.
