At first I was nervous about Prof Wilson, but by the end I really liked him. He is super insightful about life and even if you don't exactly get what is going on, he respects your ideas. It is A LOT of reading but he goes over the reading in class too. You have mini essays that aren't graded heavily and discussion posts. Overall, he is very nice.

Wilson is a great teacher! He teaches in stories which is great to get everyone engaged. He is really approachable and the kind of teacher I want to be someday. He gives you all the answers before the test you just need to study and you'll be fine! Not to much homework other than reading but the text is hard to understand so going to class helps!

Dr. Wilson is one of the best professors and teachers I have ever had in my life. Contrary to what is said one here by many people, if given the chance, he will get to know you. While I was in his class and after, I have visited him to talk about a range of issues in my life.

Comment:
Professor Wilson's tests were somewhat bearable, as was the paper, but I despised his grading. His lectures were decent; he would rather embellish his virtuosity in foreign languages than actually teach the class. No one cares what the German word for -- is. If I can't even remember the word, it had no importance nor significance in the course.

An amazing professor. The material is hard, but he presents it clearly and effectively. He is also very fair in grading, and not particularly harsh.

One of the best professors I have ever had. Takes the most abstract (and interesting) concepts and puts them into clear analogies students can easily relate to. Is extremely intelligent about..well..everything. Class is mindblowing! Professor is always willing to help, goes above and beyond for his students. 3 tests, noncumulative final,1paper

Dr. Wilson... I can't remember the last time I had such a wonderful professor. It's evident that he's devotedly passionate about philosophy and selflessly open when a student looks for his help either with understanding the course or anything else. I'm not usually the best student, but Prof. Wilson definitely brought out the good in me. Great Prof!

Dr. Wilson keeps the class working at all times and if you can keep up you'll end up with a very high grade in the class. Unlike many teachers, Wilson is not afraid to give an A if he thinks your work is outstanding. This class opened to my eyes to a lot of fascinating art out there-student presentations are the highlight of the class.

The best teacher I have ever had. He explains things very very clearly, and makes his class sessions very interesting. He does take his classes very seriously, and he does demand a lot from his students, but you will learn more than you ever thought you

Good class, particularly if you plan to take the GRE and go to grad school. Homework assignments seem like a lot at first, but they only take about half an hour. Tests were okay - just pay attention to the homework questions. My only problem was that at times, he seemed to contradict the textbook. He was nice, though a little distant.

Very intelligent and clear. The class was challenging, but not difficult. He is interesting and runs a tight ship. He is 100% clear on what his class is going to be like and the grading system, so you can easily anticpate the amount of work you need to do.
