Comment:
I hoped for best given his extensive published work, but was seriously disappointed in the content and presentation when attended in person. Among other things, I didn't feel he could successfully relate the assigned texts to provide actual political insight. U of T has a large pol sci department and there are many other more useful courses.

"Uh, Rosseau saw the Athenians as indulgent blah blah blah, and he saw the Spartans as austere blah blah blah." now multiply that by 6 months or so and you have his lectures. I just saved you time and money. I call the wrath of god on beiner. Seriously.

Definitely a slower, more tedious version of Eugene Levy. Loves to circle a point for more than half a lecture without actually landing on it.

"The UH Man" Say "uh" like 20x in a sentence. Definately doesn't know his stuff, very unclear and very boring. I don't know why UofT hires such ppl. He makes the course so uninteresting.
