Comment:
would rather have taken the course from someone with a PhD. Legg should work on teaching rather than his accents. No feedback on anything and still don't know why I got an A in his class. But hey, I'm done and will take my next ENG class with a phd.

Comment:
So sad to see some of the earlier comments on this prof. Didn't see any favoritism in his origins and nature of the eng language class, and his grading was totally fair. He is very hard, and you cannot skip assignments and expect to get a good grade, but that's why they call this college. It's not supposed to be easy. One of the best profs at Bryan, and a wonderful man as well. And no, I'm not a girl who has been shown favoritism...

Comment:
Dr. Legg's classes consist of dense autobiographical ramblings, misguided voice impersonations (usually Creole and Ebonics), and wretched displays of favoritism toward attractive females that continue after class in the form of hugs and kisses. Proves with each class he "teaches" that he does not have an earned doctorate in English.

The man is an extreme blowhard. His own love for himself blinds him to his own complete lack of teaching ability. His level of favoritism is unmatched. Very unclear about assignments.

I'll just say this: you had better do the work...ALL of the work, or you will regret it. If you're like me and grades are somewhat important to you... just don't miss an assignment and you might come out ok. This professor is extremely unclear at communicating what he wants in assignments sometimes. He also plays favorites. Watch your back.

Classes are a lot of fun, but he does play favorites, it's true. If you DO THE WORK you're good to go. Just write the essays, etc, and you'll be fine. I definitely learned a lot from him.

VERY late to return papers and then penalizes students' grades for their consistent blind mistakes (that could have been corrected if the student was made aware ealier by a returned paper). Very scatterbrained, inconsiderate, lazy, difficult, and favors girls with his grades by a HUGE margin. You can learn from him, but watch out for his grading.

Mr. Legg was at first my fave teacher at first. He made classes fun and challenging. But once I got severely sick I got no compassion from him. He does have a favoritism problem and he's pretty cynical and sarcastic sometimes. I was disappointed. I hope he reads this to be more caring.

Hands down my favorite professor ever. Not only does he have an obvious passion for what he teaches, but he cares about the students. You'll learn alot and do well in the class as long as you pay attention. If possible, get to know him outside of class. He has so much wisdom to share.

Try to count how many accents he uses. Of all the profs, I'd want his respect and approval more than any of the others.

Very clear and interesting. He knows how to engage the students and make English interesting. He will make you write alot, but it never becomes "busy work". His Scavenger Hunt is headache inducing though.
