Not the easiest class ever but very interesting. You use the text books a lot but you won't die if you don't do the reading. classes are fast paced with a lot of notes. If you like history take a class with him for sure. If you don't, he keeps classes interesting and I would still recommend it.

Professor Dameron is an absolute inspiration- he is the nicest brightest professor I have had at SMC and is always willing to help his students with a smile. His class is two days lecture one day discussion, but you learn so many interesting things from him that you always enjoy what your learning. TAKE A CLASS WITH HIM!

I really enjoy Professor Dameron's class. He's funny and nice. His classes tend to rely heavily on the literature we read for class, but I enjoy that.

I love Dameron. He is quirky and fun and makes history so much more inviting. You get lots of reading that can be pretty dense but his lectures make it interesting and understandable. He cares about his students and always checks in. I think he's hilarious.

George Dameron is an amazing professor. He makes you read and, better, makes you think. He was definitely one of my favorites at St. Mike's, a combination of helpful, caring, and passionate. Very smart guy!

Dameron is by leaps and bounds the best teacher at St. Mike's. He is wicked smart and makes you smarter just by listening to him talk. He assigns a ton of reading but you can still get an A w/o reading everything. He genuinely cares about you as a person and a student and does everything he can to help you learn.

I love this guy. I am a history major, but I think I speak for everyone when I can say that he is very understanding, very fun, and not too hard. Yes, there's reading, but I skipped a few and I'm still alive. Sometimes it seems like, why do we need to know all this? But when finals come, you see you don't. And he gives the info in advance. Awesome.

One of the more interesting professors I took at St. Mike's, also one of the harder. There was lots of reading, but I echo another comment - it's a history class! He graded fairly and was kind enough to give an extension on a paper after illness when other profs didn't.

Really smart guy, you learn a lot, but its a lot of reading and the reading is wicked boring. I got a B+ in his class but he was very unclear about papers and what he was looking for. Don't take Ancient and Medieval Civ. if you can avoid it.
