Dr. Meyer is a great guy who cares about his student's success. There are 3 papers for MGT 101 and he lets you send them to him before the due date and he provides GOOD feedback that will make it impossible for you to fail. Simply put in the effort to correct papers to his expectations and you'll be fine.

As long as you follow directions you will do fine in the class. He calls the tests quizzes and you take them twice, once by yourself and once with your group. The quizzes are very easy as long as you know the vocab. The writing assignments on the other hand are a different story. He is a tough grader but just follow the guidelines.

Although Dr. Meyer has high expectations for his students and is rather strict, he is also a great professor and is very fair. He was willing to toss out exam questions if you had a good argument against them. He was also willing to edit your papers before you turned them in. He's not as hard and set in his ways as he originally comes off.

Hardest grader ever. There are 6 exams for the whole semester, I studied for at least 4 hours for each and barely pulled a B on each. He makes you take test twice once individually and once with a group. If you have to take MGT 101 don't take this professor!

Dr. Meyer is tough. You have to write and speak the way he wants you to. There are group quizzes, which usually don't go so well if you have a bad group. There are 3 papers and 4 quizzes. You have to read the chapters thoroughly or you won't do well on the quizzes.

Would never take again. Teaches material on exams AFTER the exam, makes zero sense. Does not even review what is on the exam. Take tests individually then as a group. Bad professor.

This class was ridiculous. None of the material in class was what was actually on the tests. I would avoid this professor, probably one of the worst I've had. The class was would have been fine if the information wasn't taught in a rushed manor.

I would not recommend him as a professor. Avoid him. He is rude. We are tested on things we haven't gone over in class yet. Information in unclear gives us an idea of what to expect on quizzes and half of the stuff isn't even on there. Worse class ever.

Fairly easy class, grades on everything in the book. Writing assignments aren't too bad. I've had much, much, much worse professors.

This professor was great. He was readily accessible whenever I had questions. Also, he made topics clear and stressed differences between certain words that might otherwise be confused. He is a stickler for grammar. He prepares us for quizzes, and gives few assignments. Also, he gives a realistic and applicable view on every topic he teaches.

In 5 years of higher education, by far the WORST professor I've had. Critiques papers like a doctorate english class. Thinks he's gods gift to education teaching a B.S. MBA pre-req. I've had both good and bad professors in college, but no one has irked me more than this man. If you HAVE to take him say a prayer before every quiz b/c you'll need it.

For an evening MBA class with mostly full-time workers, he assigns a ridiculous amount of reading. Quiz material is way too specific. His instruction contradicts how he grades on writing assignments - tells you to do one thing and takes points off for it. Would not recommend.

i can see why people thought he was so difficult. def a tough teacher who is ultra specific. get the book. study the hell out of the chapters and you will do well on his quizzes but the final requires like twenty hours of review lol

Interesting class, but this man is extremely condescending. He has his favorite students, and if you're not one of them, expect to be talked down to. I would not recommend taking any class with him.

The grading structure makes an A very achievable. If you want a challenging teacher who makes you learn to think critically, this is the class to take. The grammar errors on this page speak for themselves. People need to offer objective reviews, and not use this site as a way to cry about a bad grade. Get over it.

Interesting lecturer; quizzes were very detailed and rather difficult but the grading is curved. A lot of the comments on here about him being a difficult grader on papers seem to be true for most students. I didn't have any trouble, however.

Just because it's an MBA class doesn't mean we expect to learn everything ourself. Never teaches anything, has groups of students teach sections after you're tested on it. Basically just proctors quizzes and team teaches.
