Comment:
3 grades make up your entire grade and they are all 25 question tests, all with 5 answer trick questions. If you are a poor test taker like the majority of us, his grading system is not a fair representation of how well you understand the material. If you can, do not take this class. I put in so much time and was rewarded with a sub par grade

He is such a sweet guy. Each class we brief the cases he assigned.Yes, it can get boring at times, but you learn a lot and he explains the cases very well. I'm a freshman and I'm doing well in this sophomore level course. Midterm and Final, each 50%. Honestly, if you study you'll do fine. He inspired me to add political science as a minor.

HORRIBLE Prof. Didn't do anything, could have just read the book and skipped class b/c it is of no value. Tests are on memorization, NOT case briefs, which is what the class is supposedly about. Avg grace is a C for a reason...

Professor Lamb is a good professor but his lecture can get kind of boring. He literally just goes over cases he makes you read. BE PREPARE TO BRIEF 2 -3 CASES EVERYNIGHT! His exams are much harder than they have to be so make you memorize as much details of a case as possible.

Comment:
Prof. Lamb's classes are incredibly interesting. His tests are however very difficult and require much studying. He formats each one of his classes in a similar, almost monotonous way reviewing briefs. A good introduction to law school level work and highly recommended.

A great Professor, but midterm and final are all your grade(33 questions each). no curve so you must know your stuff. A is still possible if you study. Lamb is a very nice guy...tough but I highly recommend

Amazing teacher, the best I've had in college. He is straight forward and knows his stuff. Do what he says as far as studying for the test and you will get a B at worst. Highly recommended for anyone, not just poli sci majors.

Lamb is a straightforward professor. He assigns readings of the court cases, goes over them in class and then tests the material with a midterm and non-culmative final, both of which are fair but a little wordy. He knows the material very well and to get a good grade you must attend every class and complete every reading.

I took 301, and 303 with Lamb before going to UB laws school. I found him to be a better law professor (for undergrads) then most of my L1 professors at UB law. Lamb is what I imagine a law professor to be- kind, challenging, interested, makes you feel like you are doing something important and exciting.... Lamb made me want to go to law school! A+

No-nonsense constitutional law professor. And he does it very well. Professional, honest, straitforward. The 2 exams can be tricky, but aren't impossible. Study- they are the only grades. If you have any interest in law, I recommend taking classes with prof. Lamb. Yes, he can sometimes come off as condescending, but I don't think he means to.

Lamb isn't difficult. Those who don't get the grades they want are the same people who don't come to class because it is part of their grade. Brief the cases diligently, come to class, and pay attention, and you will get a good grade. He's a good prof. that is easy to understand and extremely helpful.

Dr. Lamb is the man. Definately one of UB's best undergrad professors. Tests are hard, but he gives sample questions and is very precise about what will be/will not be tested. His slightly southern accent makes you feel like you've wandered into some old law school in the 1950's and are being taught by some wise old lawyer....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Tought professor, but probably one of the best UB has to offer. He extremely well versed in the material, and is an excellent teacher. If you do not do well in this class it is your own fault. Lamb is one of the best professors I have ever taken.
