I was skeptical at first, as she was a tough grader. She does this though to help you. If you correct the mistakes she corrected and marked off on all your assignments in your lab book, the tests will be an easy A. Read the lab manual- or at least copy it down into your notebook. You'll thank me during the test. She really wants you to understand.

She's extremely specific about what she wants out of you, which is a good thing if you're paying attention. Patient to a fault, always willing to answer any questions you might have (you'll have many). Often goes off on funny rants, which breaks up some of the tedium of the labs. Keep a detailed notebook and you'll have no trouble with the class.

Professor Fenyes is the best! Students who don't enjoy her class are the lazy ones that want to get by without putting in effort. Yes, she makes your work but it's for your own benefit. I started loving chemistry thanks to Professor Fenyes. If you want to learn chemistry, take her! She really cares about her students and is a passionate professor.

Professor Fenyes continues to impress me. A year and a half after taking her class, I contacted her requesting a recommendation. Within four days she had registered with two Web sites and completed a recommendation and an evaluation. Her continued interest and support of her students is evident and so appreciated. She really is a model educator.

One of the best lab professors! Extremely helpful and goes above and beyond to teach you what you need to know. She will not just give you the answer, but instead will find a nice way to make you understand so you truly learn. On a different note: This is a serious class so take it seriously. If you act like a child, you'll be treated like one.

Professor Fenyes is very helpful not only in lab, but also in lecture. She will take as much time needed to explain a concept or problem to her students. She is very precise when it comes to the work you turn in but the preciseness is only there to benefit the student. I would definitely take her lab again, given the opportunity.

Fenyes made the lab relate directly to the lecture. The material is complicated but she is always there to help you uderstand it.She gets down straight to business but she is also quite the comedian;"Stir with the rod like if you were mixing a martini".I recommend all Chem required majors and bartenders to take this proffesor.;)

Professor Fenyes is one of the best professors I have ever had for a lab. Her main priority is YOU, the student. She cares about you actually learning the concept more than how difficult she can make the class. Easily approachable. It is a definite pleasure to attend class. She loves what she does and you can definitely tell. Take her class!!

I did not see the purpose of having a lab note book to prepare before lab vs just turning in the reports. Now I realize it's a useful tool to truly understand and remember the purpose of the experiments you are conducting. Professor Fenyes Is helpful, she answers your questions fully and shows you the correct way to answer questions as a chemist.

Straightforward, have an organized lab notebook and you will see from there. She doesnt collect the notebook so it is solely for your own benefit. She is the type of professor that wants you to think about what youre doing, not just mix things up in a test tube! Her lab is not hard, and she is very helpful, she loves it when you ask questions!

Chemistry 102 is not easy, so don't expect lab to be a peace of cake. Professor Fenyes made the environment very fun and easy to follow instructions. She takes the extra step in helping understand the lab itself and offers a lot of individual help when asked. I definitely recommend someone to take their lab with her.

Fenyes is particular, organized, & knows what she’s doing. Her style may be intimidating at first, but you benefit from it if you have a desire to understand what you’re doing. In other labs I’ve just followed instructions & done the work. In this class I did that, but also had a firm handle on what I was doing and why. Best lab I’ve ever had.

Professor Fenyes is a great professor to students who listen and do their work. She knows her stuff very well. She is very organized and clear on her exams and labs. Although she is strict with her lab book, it helps in the end. Don't be afraid to ask questions, she is willing to answer them. Overall, the class was fun and not too hard.

She's a very helpful person! I thought she was pretty funny. Be sure to complete your data table to be able to ask her questions in class. There were 2 major projects in that class so make sure to do your best on those! Take very good notes in your lab notebook and you'll ace the tests! I learned a lot from her. It was a very fun class. :)

She is very difficult at first. I always got half credit on my labs and some how i got 100% on her final. Her class gets easier as the time progresses. She makes you learn and earn your grade. I highly recommend her.

Sure, she may seem scary to approach but she wants to help you if you show you care and have interest in the subject. She has no patience for people without common sense. She has been doing this for half of her life, I'm sure it's become a part of it. Study & practice your material and ASK HER QUESTIONS!

Professor Fenyes is a wonderful instructor. She does have a very strong personality that I know can turn some people off but she really does care and wants you to learn the material. She always gave our class lots of help and the number you got on the test did not matter to her as much as if she knew you understood the material.
