I love Professor Kerr. Hes always in a good mood which in turn motivates students to listen in lectures. He is very funny and somehow makes very boring concepts a lot easier to learn. His lecture slides are full of examples and make assignments easier. Would 100% recommend taking Stats 2205 with him.

Kerr is a great prof, he really cares about his students doing well and understanding the material. He realizes statistics is a hard course for many so he provides extremely thorough examples in lecture and is very approachable to answering questions. I highly recommend him as a professor, especially in a hard course like this.

2206: for someone who was not great at math in high school he did a great job explaining everything. Assignments are MUCH easier than final exams. 3306: Took again with him because I did so well the first time but not sure I would take again. Alright prof but a little unorganized and strays off topic so I felt I taught myself a lot of this course.

Haven't taken a math class since grade 11 and almost failed that... 4th year of my undergrad had to take stats 2205 as a requirement. Very anxious about math as its not a strong subject. Professor Kerr recognized how hard I tried and passed me because I showed up and asked for help. Still didn't understand anything .. passed with a 55%. thnx Kerr!!

Amazing prof. Kind of goofy but so nice. I was so worried about math and stats but once we started up I realized I had nothing to worry about. He explains everything really well and he really does want you to do well; he cares about your progress. If you're worried about stats at all absolutely take Kerr, you won't regret it.

One of my favourite profs in university so far. He made the course so interesting and the textbook for it is actually quite enjoyable to read. Lectures were always funny because he's naturally hilarious.

Great professor, very particular but that's what is to be expected in university. Always available for office hours and to chat about anything that may be confusing. Could not have asked for a better prof for quantitative research! If you work hard you will do good. Uses lots of descriptive slides and final exam is easy if you know your material!!!

Always willing to meet and help. Truly cares about his students success.. assuming they wish to put the work in. Hefty work loads but if you put the work in he recognizes it! Most enthusiastic prof I've ever had. Also best lectures and power points ever. They explain word for word concepts and provide so many examples.

Overall good prof. Not the most organized or clear lectures, but he always helped me with my work if I had questions. Kind of crazy, but that made his lectures that much more interesting!

Don Kerr IS ON CRACK. This is the funniest and most engaging that advanced stats can be. Seriously... bring a video camera if you get bored, he is crazy. My favourite moment was when the slide blanked out and he freaked and asked the students if they could see that... also asked a student what she was smoking cause he wanted some! Love him!!

Did not like the way her set his course up. He gave us tests with over 100 m/c questions and then made each test worth 10%. So much work so such a small amount of the actaul grade. He also only posts part of the lecture notes in order to force you to come to class. Not the best course but he is nice and pretty funny.

I took Professor Kerr's population demography class as a last minute option and it quickly became my favorite class! Not only is he engaging and funny during lectures, he is more than willing to offer any help if asked. If you can, take his class!

if you thought stats was going to be boring, watch out! expect him to pick on you randomly and laugh manically and drop eff-bombs throughout, but he's really concerned with class progress, has great powerpoint notes and is very approachable, friendly and helpful - our TA Bev also made it a great year.

this guy is crazier than george w. bush, but in a non-murderous way. you can't help but pay attention to what he is saying, he really good at explaining the material and what he wants from you. if you can't take a joke or your an up-tight prude then don't take his class you me offended or insult and probably unconfortable.

Always chaotic, but always well planned. Lectures are logical, notes are always very thorough. Helpful and enthusiastic ... you have to do the work, but the chaos is funny.
