Comment:
Dr. Milner definitely knows what she is talking about she just isnt a good professor. Her lectures are so boring and dry even if your into it , they just drag. She is really flexible about homework and she grades exams very easy. However she can come across as stuck up at times and also can be pretty picky when grading projects.

DO NOT TAKE HER FRESHMAN SEMINAR (unless you enjoy writing long papers) I've always been a history buff so I thought learning about 17th century Pennsylvania would be fun and easy, I was wrong. The three grades for the class consist of a power point presentation and two 9 page papers plus attendance. Absolutely ridiculous for a freshman seminar.

Class was pretty boring and attendance is mandatory. However, Dr. Milner was very lenient with handing in work and was an overall nice person. There weren't that many things you needed to do for the class so it was kind of easy.

I love her. She knows what she is talking about and is definitely available for office hours if you have questions. It is a small class so speak up and stand out.

Overall great class. But expect daily homework and short papers. Only 2 exams that are a bit hard but she is pretty good at giving credit if you actually try. My class was a 9 am so bring coffee to wake yourself up or you will fall asleep in lecture.

I took this class as a high school senior and it was a breeze. Very informative and interesting; it really convinced me to major in Anth. Dr. Milner's lectures are a little dry, but she's very nice and really knows her stuff. The textbook we used was a Reader's Digest book, with lots of pretty pictures. It's not rocket science.

Some lectures were boring, but the class as a whole was interesting. She gives a lot of details that would be needed to know in the field. Projects were interesting

Lectures are boring, but I still thought there were some interesting points. Reading the books helps a little, but the big thing is attending the lectures. She's a very nice lady and will help you if you need it. Everyonce in a while she'll show some interesting movie clips and stuff. A good class if you have to skip a few every now and then.

I am a last semester senior and this is the most boring teacher I have ever had. She takes interesting material and makes it too dry to bare. Her tests are much too difficult for a 100 level elective and loaded with trick questions. DO NOT TAKE!!!

Dr. Milner isn't great, but she's not bad either. The lectures are a little boring, but are definitely the key to a good grade. If you put effort behind the class, you will do well
