Professor Scott is great at first but when it comes to the test they are hard. You have to study and he will try and trick you on the exams. Overall not too bad but you cannot slack off in this class. Does not take attendance but going to class will help a lot !

He talks in circles and never gives clear answers to materials. HIs tests are all multiple choice questions that are made to trick you and really analyze the question in depth. He will not go over the test nor answer any questions over it. He does not give out extra credit and hardly ever curves. Avoid this class if you care about your GPA

I received the highest grade in the class which was almost a B, and yet there was no curve. There are only two test and the final, which the average grade is a D. Most people I know in the class are struggling to get by. He is a super nice teacher though, and has a small accent. If only choice, you should get B or C if you try

I don't know why he gets all these bad ratings he is as straight forward as it gets. Three 50 multiple choice exams, no homework or anything else. He does curve if the class does poorly. Just read the chapters and pay attention in class and write down anything he repeats. He will tell you what you need to know including any amendments.

He is definitely passionate about the law; however, his methods of teaching, testing and so on do not clearly show it. I attended every class, read the text, took good notes, got tutoring and even visited him during office hours and still earned a C. This is a hard class with extremely bogus tests. I would not recommend this professor.

I wish I would have read his reviews PRIOR to taking his class. They're not kidding...he is actually quite difficult. When he talks to you, he makes it seem easy to remember, the come test time, the questions make you go ?!?!?!?!? Try to take another professor. Wound up with a C

This is by far the worst teacher here at Towson. He has three tests which are not related to anything in the book or his lectures. Do not take him.

If you care about your GPA I would not recommend you taking him because you will mess it up and won't even think about. All he talks about is that he drives his Mercedes and writes with Mont Blank pens and he carries about 5 of them in his pocket, not sure why (probably to show off). Also, he DOES NOT CURVE grades. I have nothing positive to say.

With no exaggeration, I can say that Scott is the worst teacher I have ever had. I'm not entirely convinced that he has a law degree. His lectures are child-like and idiotic. His "hypothets" (yes, he made up a word and uses it regularly) rarely demonstrate the topic at hand. Simply, Scott is a moron. Save yourself the headache.

I honestly don't know what everyone is so fuusy about. Sure there is no immediate schedule on his syllabus, but you can find out when test are. These ppl are prob lazy and want the work done for them. He gives hypothet's so you can understand and they help. You use the book alot, so much so what do you need to be in class for? He is a great teacher

He was seriously the WORST teacher I have ever had in my life. He seriously argued with my entire class that a "punishment for civil offense" was "the prosecutor." Yes, that's right. Rather than admit that the test was graded wrong he argued with 30 people that a punishment can be a person. Don't like him if you can't handle nonsensical arguments.

This guy was the WORST teacher I have had in my entire life. He actually argued with my entire class that "the punishment for a civil offense" was "the prosecutor" (so basically that a punishment can be a person) just so he didn't have to admit that the tests were marked wrong. Don't take him if you can't follow nonsense and you want fair grades.

Test material does not match any topics covered in class or sections he tells you to highlight in the book. Has no contact information or office hours. He refuses to go over tests, mainly because he marks correct answers incorrectly. If that tests were on red bikinis, turkeys, or red meat, everyone would have passed...

Terrible teacher. Tells you to highlight in the book and then test matter doesn't agree with your notes. Only has 3 grades for class, including Mid-term and Final I am withdrawing. Oh and he is obsessed with making things awkward. Sicko.

He's a nice guy and the class is easy, but the tests aren't. He tells you to highlight stuff and what to study and then the test has nothing to do with what you study. All he does is give hypothetical situations, like all class. O and he weights the tests horribly so have fun getting a good grade if you do bad on one of the three :).

Nice and funny guy, but his class was a pain. No schedule of exams or assignment. Makes you participate, don't bother hiding in the back. No extra credit, curves, makeups, or sympathy. We had 1 test, 1 quiz, and 1 final (all of which are subject to change).

Horrible teacher. Seems like a nice guy at first but makes the first test, which everyone does well on a quiz. Almost our whole class failed the second test and he counted that as 40% and didn't do anything about it. Had NO office hours, no email, and the phone number is to his secretary who normally doesnt answer. Didnt offer extra credit! Ass.
