Comment:
The way he teaches flipped classroom online and conducts exams do NOT work. The quizzes aren't hard; their structure makes them hard. In front of everyone, he called me "vocal" for telling him the structure was bad and offering suggestions. He's condescending and gets angry when you don't understand even though he says he's "here to support you".

This man is one of a kind, he makes class chill and fun. He even made a study guide for the whole semester. As long as you read that clear, u A guaranteed. I don't know why yall rate this guy so low. One of the Best teachers I met since I came to the US.

He belittles students, lacks compassion or understanding, and gets angry and acts out at the smallest things. I promise I'm not exaggerating one bit. It was actually unreal how he treated students. I found the material interesting and surprisingly enjoyed accounting, but he made classes so tense and insufferable.

One of best professors that I had during my time at USF. He is always available for his students, and explains difficult material in a way that allows you to more easily comprehend and absorb the material, the way he explains the material also allowed me to understand more when studying on my own. I appreciated his talks on life, society, business

He is a very nice and interesting guy BUT not a great professor. He doesn't seem like he enjoys teaching and as a result the students don't learn/try.

Todd Sayre is not rated well on this site but he really is a good guy! He wants his student to succeed and curves scores because the material you learn in this class is really hard and super math related. This class is weighted only by 3 tests, a final, and 1 project.

Pretty nice guy, but not that great of a professor. Only grade are 3 midterms, a Final, and a small paper. Very hard to understand the concepts he tries to teach. No attendance mandatory, but go if you want to pass. Only take him if youre confident and have some knowledge on managerial accounting, but try avoiding him if you really want to learn.

WORST CLASS. Students in his class could not understand the way he was teaching. On top of that, he belittles students for not understanding him. Exams are different from the lectures, but he curves the grade. If he did not curve the grades, most of the students would fail. If you want to learn, do not take this class.

The reviews are correct, but either you like him or you don't. Academics wise- he is very easy, you can go to class but he gave us a book with all of our presentations and homework so you can survive w/o going. 3 +F Exams, optional homework(very helpful for review). He made us do practice tests in classes that were before tests, offers help during.

Todd Sayre is very blunt and straight forward about the outline of the class. He teaches fast and calls on people randomly, so be prepared. The graded course work depends on solely exams. Attendance is not mandatory but he only shows his specific visual outlines of the chapters in class. These visuals are key to doing well on all exams.

Your grade is 3 exams, optional to take final. The lectures in class rarely make sense right away and if you're lost he might make you feel dumb about it. Starts each class with an unrelated discussion, about 30min. OK guy/professor but is quite a character. Only take if you're confident in accounting/a fast learner. Do suggested HW & extra credit.

NEVER IN YOUR LIFE EVEN CONSIDER THIS CLASS. he is the worst class ever. you get three chances to do well and will not because he makes the tests so hard and impossible. he only talks about health and socialism. does not care about you or how well you will do in the class.

Do not take his class. He doesn't know how to teach. Gets mad if you don't understand the content. Not friendly. Three exams worth many points, lots of online homework. Avoid his class.

He is a great accounting professor, but I could have done without his rants. He really pushes his views on you and doesn't accept anything else. However, I still recommend you take him since he is a great professor and makes accounting easier to learn.

I took accelerated Managerial Accounting with Professor Sayre this summer and thought he was just alright. He jumped around a lot (potentially because the classes were so long) and spent a lot of time talking about stuff that was not important. He frequently got the answers to questions wrong and the class would have to point out his errors.

Sayre convinced me to major in accounting! Definitely take him if ur a business major. He's very matter-of-fact, explains the concepts clearly with lots of examples. Funny and interesting guy, really wants to help out his students. If you go to class and pay attention you don't need to read the textbook/do the homework. Tests are reasonable.

Take him for Sustainable Business! The class is awesome. If you read all the stuff and actually try, you will get a good grade and learn some really cool things. He's an understanding guy, but is very passionate about the subject. Sometimes he does go on tangents, but it's not that hard to bring him back. I recommend this class to everyone
