Mr. Perapon Pongpakdee is the epitimey of horrible proffesors. Aside from the fact that you have to learn viatnemese to understand this class, he will indubiously change his expectations from you in the snap of a finger. He refuses to listen, or cooperate with you to help you pass the class. Literally, miscommuncation failed me, and he did nothing.

He actually taught me that college is different than high school because if you pay attention and actually do your work and are respectful, he is a wonderful teacher. I would absolutely take him again.

I am a good student but Art's class killed my GPA. He's extremely unclear on what he wants you to do. If you ask him for help he will tell you "Look in your book". I am paying for an education and I can tell you that I learned nothing in his class. I would take C++ at a big university and take my chances rather than waste my time on his class.

Horrible teacher. Difficult to understand, confusing, no course outline, and you never know what he wants from you as a student. I had a chapter 4 test with him. When I took the test it was a chapter 3 and 4 test. He lied to us. Spent all of my time studying things that wasn't on the test. If there is an alternative teacher take him instead.

I thought Art was a great teacher. Yes, his accent makes understanding him difficult, but he does very hard to make sure he's understood. He doesn't spoon-feed students, which is something the world needs more of these days. Also, this was the first programming class I took and he was kind enough to make a point to tell me I was doing well.

Art is extremely intelligent and extremely knowledgeable in computer science. He does have a thick accent, but he will try to speak so you can understand. He will NOT hold your hand, but if you show him you are trying, he will do anything for you. All you must do is ask, but you must ask.

In my opinion, the class wasnt too hard if you had prior knowledge of a computer. He was not very helpful, didnt seem to know too much about a computer. Do your work, tests are hard!

I do not understand why everyone thinks he is hard. It was by far the easiest college course I have ever taken. He is a very nice man as well, he just doesn't want to treat his students like children. Take a course at a large university and you would be wishing you had professors like him. I even went on vacation, and I was able to make up my test.

Had C++ and Visual Basic with him... nice guy .. but he doesn't know enough english to talk with students alot of the time. computers messed up and half the class's work wouldn't load on his main computer and he blamed us for doing it wrong... even though he couldn't explain what went wrong..if you have a choice .. steer clear or talk to a friend.

He's so mean. :( I was out a week sick, did all my work for the test/lab day during that week. He told me since I never came to class he was going to fail me. It wasn't like I did not do my work, or did not study at all. He embarrassed me infront of the whole class. I more than likely am dropping his class.

Probably one of the worst teachers I have ever had. Would not accept my work because I had turned on in late. He is not qualified to teach any computer course, I mean seriously, he doesn't even own a computer, and then complains because he has so many students to keep up with and that it drives him crazy grading that many papers

I loved Mr. Pongpakdee (Art). He was hilarious and got mad when I skipped his class all the time but I passed with an A++. He's hard to understand but he was helpful and fun! I would recommend taking his class.

Too focused on making sure everyone can do it, rather than focusing on actually teaching. Was supposed to cover the entire book, covered less than half instead. Never actually did any programming in a programming class, and would wrongly refute my answers. All-around horrible professor.

He is a good teacher, but you can't understand him most of the time. If you don't know what you are doing, he will not help unless you know something about the computer.
