Attending lecture is probably a good idea but tbh if you just do the reading and know the review questions you'll be fine. Read the book.

Nice guy, seems very passionate about psychology but rambles a lot. Tests are hard and very specific. You can't just rely on lecture notes but must read the textbook thoroughly.

I was told he was going to be a good professor for my Cog. psych class, boy was that wrong. You will need the text book big time, everything I learned was from the text book. He posts his notes online, which was helpful since he constantly rambles throughout the entire class. He is a very nice guy, but side tracked easily. GET YOUR BOOK!

It's an easy class if you attend lecture and even slightly pay attention. His test reviews are very helpful.

He is the best Professor ever. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. He is always in a good mood and smiles. You read a lot and it's for your own good. Most of the class are PhD students. And he curves the grads for non PhDs.

This professor is very smart and accomplished, but isn't really the best teacher. Tends to ramble somewhat during lectures. However, tests are VERY specific. Make sure you read the book at least twice before every test.

gave about 12 point curves on exams and even says he curves more than they would like him to worked out great for me couldnt undestand that ppl stil did bad even with that great help. 3 short answer on exams which are not hard if you studied and he gives at least one away during review

He can ramble on sometimes, but this is usually because he likes to explain things thoroughly. Pay attention to the lectures, study the chapters, and definitely go over the exam reviews. You're guaranteed at least ONE question if you actually pay attention to the reviews!

Puts notes online so you don't have to write everything during lecture. His test reviews are pretty much the same as the exam so if you do the review you'll ace the test. Kind of boring, but he gets very excited about research studies so you'll hear a lot about them.

sign in sheet good teacher but still have to study before test. he will give a review sheet before the test but it wont cover everything on the test, so know more than the just review. holub's section is definitely easier but bartlett isnt super difficult. he also curves test depending on class avg.

Tests are so meticulous/hard that he curves the grade for tests & class. He is unorganized making it difficult to pay attention. His ppt aren't much help. He knows a lot of research but the specificity to his tests are just crazy. Even the TA said he understood/felt sorry for us but "that is why the grades are curved"

Material is interesting but Dr. Bartlett can get a bit boring. His tests are difficult but manageable. He posts his notes online so you can follow along in class rather than rush to copy down slides. He teaches the first half of this course and Dr. Holub teaches the second half. Holub's part of the course is a bit easier to understand.

Most people complained about the way he teaches, but personally, I think he prepares you for a lot of your other classes that way. Tests are based on reading, so read. Attendance is important, so go to class! He's a really nice and knowledge professor, so I enjoyed his part of the class a lot!

He's nice, but EXTREMELY unorganized. Also depicts himself as more interested in research than actually teaching. Tests were very difficult, class was dull and teacher was ineffective.

Talks rapidly but he knows his stuff and he's really into it, altho it puts me to sleep. It's all PPT, which he posts online. But you HAVE to read the book or you will not succeed. Make sure you do the REVIEW before each test, they're very helpful. Tests are quite hard but he gives decent curves. Just study hard and you'll be ok.

Rambles, mumbles, hard to understand. Alternates with Dr. Holub, and she's much easier to understand. He's a nice guy, but better suited for the research world than lecturing.
