Professor Gillespie is one of the best professors i've ever taken at UD! I personally think some of the material in this class can be challenging, but Gillespie was so helpful and really wants his students to succeed. He answers emails so quickly and makes himself available to really help you understand. He cares about every student that he teaches

Jeff is awesome! You can tell that he really wants the students to succeed. Jeff was extremely helpful and responded to emails quickly. He was also really accommodating when we switched to online classes. The material can be tough and you'll have to spend a lot of time studying outside of class but Jeff does everything he can to help you do well.

Professor Gillespie is the best. He always makes himself available, I've emailed him with questions late and he always immediately responds. In class we do problems, and those problems are the same thing as the quizzes. He gives you ample help on take home quizzes. DO the online homework, it is worth more than the quizzes, annoying but easy.

Jeff is the man. Our class got moved online due to COVID-19 and he's been on top of things. His lecture style focuses on doing problems, which I love. If you need help, just ask him and he is more than willing to help you outside of class.

Jeff Gillespie is one of my favorite accounting Professors at UD so far. He is caring, helpful and keeps class fun and interesting... as fun as accounting could be. Even with class being online, Jeff has kept it together and I have actually been doing better in the class since going online! Definitely take Jeff for 327!!!

Gillespie is the best professor ive had at UD. he makes accounting classes funny and keeps you engaged in the lectures. his lectures consist mostly of him working out problems in class which I find to be very helpful because then those same types of problems are on the exams

Gillespie is the man. I'm not an accounting major so I thought this class was pretty easy compared to my other classes, but it seemed like the accounting majors had some trouble. He's a really good professor and his exams really test your understanding. If you study you study like 5 hours for his exam you will do just fine.

Professor Gillespie has been one of my favorite professors at UD. You have to go to class in order to get the notes because he only uses the chalkboard rather than a computer or powerpoint. Tests are hard but it's hard material.

You must go to class to do well. The text book I only really used for hw problems. Gillespie is an excellent teacher and mentor. He is always available for office hours and they are worth going to. The course overall is extremely tough. Quizzes just about every week and a cumulative final. He does give practice tests which are a must.

So Prof. Gillespie is an awesome professor. Always willing to help and his class is extremely clear. That being said cost accounting is an extremely hard subject . Even though Gillespie makes it clear make sure you practice! Finally make sure you do the HW problems because some exam questions maybe based on it!

Gillspie's class is not easy but he is always there to help. Even though I didn't do well in his class I really enjoyed it. He presents the material in a way that's easy to understand but exams can be long and tough. Study a lot! When he mentions in class that something will be on the exam he means it!!

Jeff is awesome, class isn't easy but that's the nature of cost. pay attention in class, do the practice tests, and do the homework problems for every chapter (important!!) and youll be fine. so devoted to his students and his tests/grading are really fair

Great teacher. Tells you everything you need to know, and gives handouts for every chapter with what you should know. Go to class because it makes it that much easier.
