The guy is crazy, but in a good way. I would rather take another professor however that would explain the material more. He goes over the bones of the course and everything else you need to fill in yourself. Teaches a lot by the use of examples. Had an 8am class but what would happen in class would make it fun to go to. Unique attendance roll call.

Does not check homework. Comes in every class and does homework problems-THAT'S IT! Could find the solutions online for free=wast of time. Sometimes funny. Grades hard and the grades we have are the five tests and lab.

Calc 2 is hard, no matter who you have as a teacher. This man is old but funny. He doesn't make you do HW, but it helps. 5 tests per semester (lowest dropped). I dropped the class because the tests were hard and I didn't do enough work outside of class. Try not to just sit in class and copy down the work on the board. Not bad overall, but tough

This guy is absolutely hilarious in the classroom, and I never missed a class. However, he occasionally will screw you over on grades (like the evil lab exam). At least he will drop your lowest grade. He's alright, take his course.

One of the Best professor in Wentworth in my honest opinion. Very Humorous and his lectures are crystal clear. If you pay attention and take good notes, you'll do fine.Grades are based on 3 tests, lab, attendance,and final. He drop the lowest grade. Shouldn't be too hard to pass his class.

Pretty unhelpful. More or less expects you to work out the material by yourself. Which as we all know is very. very difficult to do with calculus. If your GPA doesn't go down after taking this class, it's because you dropped it.

One of the worst teachers at Wentworth bar none. If you actually want to learn something and care about your GPA don't even bother taking him. He writes more on withdrawal papers than he does on the board.

I do not see eye to eye with Derringh. The main thing that drove me crazy was how he looks down on his students. Whenever someone asked a question he would mock them for a couple of minutes and then answer. I finished with an A in his class, but everything I learned with self taught.

I could not understand anything this man tried to teach. There have been three exams so far and I've passed, meaining above 60, once. He cannot talk straight, he studders constantly. He skips steps to equations and wont go back over them. He discourages questions and makes students feel stupid.

He's a nice guy, jokes around. Stutters. Hard to understand at times. He skips steps to equations. Goes off topic easily. He's a nice guy, covers the material but not that great. I've always had a hard time with math, he wasn’t much of a help. Made smart comments on my exams, etc. Great guy, but gets off topic too easily.

he may come off as a little odd at first, but give him time and you'll grow to enjoy his corny jokes. his test are very straightfoward and his teaching methods are very clear. overall, hes on the best physics professors i've had.
