Comment:
Dr. Dark did not teach this class very effectively. There were so many notes during class that I couldn't keep up and found myself not digesting the information that I was given. You are supposed to do 2-3 hours of reading a week but it is too much so I never really read the whole chapter and I have been fine so far.

Dr. Dark was almost always throwing random assignments at us during this class. She changed the syllabus 5 times and also harshly graded huge projects that basically made up our entire grade. I went to class every day and normally get As, so I promise I'm not a slacker. She genuinely should not teach this course.

I had her last semester. She was a very easy grader for my class. She loves fish and scuba diving, so you will see many pictures of her fish (and there is usually a question about the fish on the exams). Just do the reading and don't skip.

She is into scuba diving and loves sharing her pictures! She truly loves what she teaches. I recommend going to class due to random participation points. She is a fair grader and gives awesome study guides for her exams. I highly recommend this class.

Random in class attendance points, easy if you go to class... two tests and a group project. Class helps understand the readings which can be hard

A little odd, but she loves what she teaches and is very clear and easy to understand. There is a lot of information, and it's really important to go to class. There is a lot of reading to keep up with and the test is hard. DO THE SONA EXTRA CREDIT. It helps your grade a lot.

She loves what she teaches and knows how to teach it well. Those who don't do well on her test often admit they didn't read the book. You need to read the text along with her study questions. Also, you need to attend class to get the notes. She is incredibly nice and helpful so long as you show that you truly care.

She obviously loves what she teaches. A little goofy but makes concepts easy to comprehend. Read through lecture notes multiple times and use her study questions for each chapter as you read (yes, you need to read everything). People who don't do well simply don't try-- she is always ready to help students struggling.

Can be a tough teacher to follow. She's lenient, but her section (first trimester of semester) has the most difficult test. Reading the text and staying up to date with it is GREATLY recommended.

Boring Lecture, Semi-Hard Test. Make sure you get your lecture notes filled out and book notes. Study them moderately and get a solid B on the test.

Hard as hell! unless your into psych your screwed. easy packet but the book is uncomprehendable and were suppose to read the book on your own....in the tests it feels like none of the questions are from either the notes or book. there is a curvewhich gives you alot of free points.

she tries to make the lectures interesting, but they just aren't. near impossible to stay awake at 8:00 a.m. the homework is really easy, the test was pretty hard but she curved off a bunch of points so it wasnt too bad.

Dr. Dark is a really nice/goofy prof. She enjoys having fun in the honors course-- alot of material is covered, but there wasn't a final-- grades were determined on research, quizes, (easy) assignments and a research paper. Really interesting course with a helpful and understanding prof!

I thought that her notes were too long and she wasted a lot of lecture time going over comics and examples. She's not as nice as she looks, she doesn't like it whe you ask questions. Her study guide does't prepare you well for the test. So make sure you read the text also!!

Comment:
She used too many stupid comics. Half of them didn't even relate to the topic. If I wanted to read the comics, I'd read the Des Moines Register. I went to learn psychology and she just didn't teach it very effectively.
