His exercices were fun and interesting. I learned so much from him about writing prose and poetry. He is not one of those teacher who imposes his way of seeing things. If you work hard and are creative he will notice and it will show in your grade.

I absolutely adored this professor. He is engaging and his exercises, though they might feel aimless sometimes, are fun and engaging so just be creative! He is an amazing writer and has actually mentored me during the writing of my last short film. I was able to call or email him anytime and he was quick to help!

Easy class, just show up and do group work. I think he's hilarious and highly enjoyed his antics, but not everyone would be into it. He's the type of prof that sort of makes fun of a student when they ask a dumb question. I'm into it, you might not like him if you ask dumb questions tho.

I honestly do not understand why this teacher has only 2.4 (for now) has a overall grade. He is an amazing person and an amazing teacher. Of course, I've had him in a class that would be hard to make boring (Creative process) but do some research on the guy, he's amazing and an inspiration!

this class felt like a high school course. We basically worked in team in class on tiny assignments. there were four papers (interview, short story, script, comedy or poetry or comic). Gives a lot of feedback though. But it takes him forever to give back papers. you lose points if you miss class.

Disorganized, doesn't listen to students and is overall the furthest thing fro ma good teacher. He is dramatic about absences even though half of the time you do useless work in class. Only good thing about his course is that it has no midterm or final. Easy work load but he's still a tough grader

Ya, there are no readings and easy projects, but if you want to learn something or be creative this is not the class for you. Every moment spent in his class felt like a waste of time. Not to mention the fact that he is extremely offensive and breeds a disrespectful environment where students can be ignorant and not be called out.

No exams or tests, and no textbooks or books to buy. It's four assignments spread out over the semester. The class was interactive and I met some nice people. Everyone took it as an elective, and you do not need a background in creative writing. All you need is a little imagination, and a willingness to show up and participate. Michel was funny!

The best thing about this prof is that he makes a really funny, fun class environment, and his class is really easy; no exams or essays, just 4 projects. But, he is disorganized in handing back papers on time. He is always there to help students, however he is not particularly friendly or personable.

If you care about learning, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. If you want an easy A at the cost of going to class to not miss attendance, this is for you. Worst class I've taken at Concordia.

The Creative Process- Skip more than 2 classes and you start losing marks, nothing too major. 4 assignment spread out evenly during the semester and nothing else, no readings. Expect to work in small groups during class and to participate. Went to see him in his office and he provided little or no feedback at all.

He's funny, and his class is really easy. He might pick you out of the class and make fun of you, but that's who he is. You'll get to know a lot of people in the class because it's based on group work. Overall fun class, after you figure out what he likes, an easy mark.

Incredible person, highly intelligent, and laid back. Has an unconventional teaching style which is a huge bonus. I think. Also he is a real person and if you actually care about the class and are ambitious he'll go out of his way to give you time and care.

Had a reputation to be funny, what was funny was the long list of excuses he uses every class to get out of marking or doing his job properly. The Creative Process this is not. Hope he retires and gives the job to someone who deserves it.

I really enjoyed this class. It wasn't very hard, and I thought Michel was hilarious. He takes a different approach to teaching than I'm used too. I wouldn't say I learned very much, but I'm still glad I took the class.

He paints a pretty picture the beginning of the semester. His energy is low, uses bullying tactics. Didn't teach anything the whole semester. Still not sure what the purpose of this class is except a complete waste of time.

I actually really enjoyed Michel as a Prof. his directions can be vague and he is a total hard ass about not paying attention in class but he definitely knows a lot about creating funny/interesting work. If you need help go to office hours. He even helped me work on a portfolio months after i finished the course i had with him!

Great prof. A little all over the place with the marking...takes a decade to return work if at all but super fun & easy class. He's hilarious but this isn't the class to take if you genuinely want to improve your writing. Bird class.

The classes were always fun. He's a funny and interactive teacher, but not much more than that. out of the 4 assignments we did, only 1 was returned to us. He's a very slow marker, but relatively easy. Good if you just want an easy class and don't care about improving your writing or anything.
