Very nice guy, very easy grading with 3 essay 2 pages long, and final 2 short essays that he will give you topics ahead. The easiest class I ever took. He will accept everything you write and give you a good grade, very flexible as well, will recommend to anyone who needs easy grade for his/her elective, don't bother buying the book, use internet

I thought this class would be hard at first but he tells you everything that is on the test, so as long as you know that and look it up, you'll do fine. I went to class, but slept through most of them and still has a decent grade. DO NOT buy the textbook.

What a sweetheart. Boring, but easy. He wants you to succeed and it's not hard to with him as a teacher. Easy B, and that's if you never read and are only awake half the time in class. 3 essays (2-3 pgs), tests are quotes from the poems & books, and final is an essay. I only ever skimmed the readings before tests and received a good course grade.

Nice guy, very helpful outside of class and his papers are a breeze. I got all As and I hardly showed up. Although his classes are dreadful, his lectures consist of 'uhhh' and very long pauses that I found hard to listen to. But aside from that, good teacher, easy grader and very kind.

This class is a breeze. He has a public speaking issue (stutters a lot), but your grade is literally 6 papers that you can almost guarantee a B on (follow in-class instructions and it boosts to A).

Honestly, I thought this class was going to be really hard, but it turned out being the easiest class ever. He is really sweet, but his lectures are boring. DON'T buy the textbook. Go to class, especially when he tells you what is on the test. He tells you exactly what is on it. 4 tests, 2 papers and a presentation. Very simple.

This class was easy, but listening to his lectures put me to sleep every class. He's a sweet heart and it's an easy grade but I wouldn't recommend it.

Dr. Blissert is extremely intelligent and fun to talk to in person. He's also very willing to help out when a student needs something explained. That's one-on-one. In lectures, sadly, he has the verbal tic others have mentioned, and goes through long-pauses as he tries to find a word. Take his class if you think you might need extra help.

DO NOT take a class with this professor. For being an English professor, he can't string a sentence together in less than a minute. He rambles and barely makes any sense. His tests are ridiculous. You have to remember random quotes from all that you read and know every detail about them and write an essay. I pity anyone in his class.

The class itself is very easy. The reading is a bit long sometimes, but interesting enough. He can be a bit boring but he explains what is going to be on the test and papers with clarity. He grades esay enough so that if you dont read, you cant still pass with a decent grade. I would recomend his class and take future classes wiht him.

Very nice professor, knows all his students. He grades essays easy as long as you stick to your topic. The only problem is he tends to repeat himself a lot . Also he takes attendence at the end of class and this usually makes his class run a few minutes longer.
