I cried when Prof Boruchoff told the class he was leaving McGill. Besides being an amazing teacher, he's a truly wonderful person -- very kind, caring, helpful, etc. Every class was informative and a real joy. He knows all about Cervantes and has a dry sense of humour. I can't imagine McGill without him.

I've never had a prof who cares so much about his students and wants every one to succeed. Sure, he's a hard marker and demanding, but that's because he really wants to bring out your best and he gives a lot in return. He's also incredibly witty and has a talent for making difficult readings and issues understandable. Definitely take his classes!
