He is very sarcastic. Makes you think about what you asked during the lab and doesn't tell you much. After asking a question, he makes you feel dumb. Nice guy, but has a strange sense of humour. He's tough, would recommend taking a lab with him if you enjoy a challenge.

Scott is an amazing lab instructor. He is very intelligent and knows his stuff. If you're dumb and careless you won't like him because you probably expect him to do everything for you . But that's not the point. I'm not doing that we'll in the lab but I still think he is a great instructor because he likes to challenge and get students to think.

Scott expects you to perform at your max potential. He tries to prepare his students to the harshness of reality; Which most people are not ready for. He can be a VERY tough cookie, but if you show responsibility, diligence, and a desire to learn and improve YOURSELF not just your 'mark' he will do everything to help YOU help yourself.

Scott can be a tough marker, but he's hardly unreasonable. Although I did have him for chem 1104, which is kind of a hand holding course. I'm surprised to see the scathing reviews though. Knowledgeable, well organized, and always provides clear direction for the labs. Everyone in my class thought he was a pretty entertaining instructor.

I like him. It's Randy that fries everyone with bad grades and takes a mark off for something as stupid as a misplaced letter in a word or eraser mark. I have to take the bus to the lab and due to traffic I am often 3-4 mins late. Scott understands, Randy just yells at me with a condescending attitude.

Don't take any lab with Scott. He's the most useless lab instructor at Douglas. Basically he's there only for $$$. He told me if I need help, go talk to Celia, his boss. I did and I found Celia a much more helpful lab instructor. DON'T TAKE SCOTT. PERIOD!!!

Nicest guy around, he's a TOUGH marker, but in the end the lab mark gets averaged anyways, ask him LAB questions he will answer them, the lab write up is on your own. He has some strange ideas but he is nice and helpful during lab time. This guy is always making comparisons, "apples and oranges" funny guy. I would most definitely take him again.
