I loved the material but there was no comprehending what he taught. You taught yourself and it was hard to teach yourself that heavy of material. If youre more of a hands on visual learner do not take him.

A lot of people dislike him because they actually have to work for the grade, but I liked him because he was interesting. Study the notes he gives you and the questions in the book for the tests. Also, pay attention to the big pictures of the stories he is telling you. He is never rambling. He wants you to think about what he is saying.

I made an account just to review this guy. Classes are lectured 100% of the time, for the literal entire class period (90mins). Tests are almost weekly and consist of some information that isn't even in the book (which he openly admits). Only take this course if you must, otherwise pick a diff GenEd elective.

I took this professor about a decade ago. Very boring professor. He lectures, but doesn't teach. There's a difference. Do what he tells you, and you'll get an easy A. But don't expect to be inspired.

An interesting guy who I wouldn't mind talking to one on one, but as a teacher he's a nightmare. His lectures run on and on and on and on and his voice is a bit monotone so it's very easy to lose focus. Tests are incredibly difficult and had me pulling my hair out the day of. He has no mercy, but if you study you might do alright. Best of luck.

I would not recommend talking him. He is very boring and rambles a lot. His test are very hard and so confusing! He never does extra credit either and there are never any class discussions. He just talks .... Students are not involved in his class, it's just him talking and then taking test.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR AT ALL!!!! This man is very difficult!!! I was 6 points away from a C and he wouldn't even give me that!!! Then he is very boring and annoying!!! I didn't learn anything in this class whatsoever

Dr. Brummer is very friendly and smart. He tells stories and examples and all of his lectures follow along in order with the text book. Yes, his tests are hard (especially) if you don't study. Most of the people that complain about his tests are people that never study or read the chapter.

I really enjoyed his class. I had him for psych 1 & 2. Yes, his test are application and difficult sometimes. His tests were never over the notes. However, if you read the chapter and study the text book you will find that he gets his questions from the book. He is always willing to help. He gives several take home tests which helps your grade.

Dr. Brummer is very difficult. His test are horrible. The material is hard to comprehend. He can go on and on about a subject. Tests are very detailed and application type. Great man! He does talk a lot & fast. His tests are tricky, but fair. They are application, so you have to know your material. READ & LISTEN! If you really love Psyc, take him! He is very supportive & loves devoted students. Just get to know him! For those who know how great Dr. Clark is, who do you think taught him?
