MBA class. Lots of time-consuming writing. Simulation can be tricky to learn at first and the Globus test is hard. Devote plenty of effort to the essays. Make sure you use buzzword terms and concepts everywhere or you will get a poor grade. TIP: make sure the SWOT analysis is placed at the end of case vs middle.

Very time consuming course. Get all the pts from the DBs --free pts. 1st case is hard because it's new. The key is to use tons of terms. Papers range from 10-20pgs. Picky grader. You want to get all the points on the papers/posts so you have cushioning for the Globus MC midterm (10%) and simulation (20% grade) where you compete against peers.

Dr. Duffy is an outstanding professor that guides your success through clear feedback. This capstone class involves much reading and writing as expected from a graduate level class.

Whole course has a group simulation project. It isn't as difficult as it seems at first, but you HAVE to read the material to understand it. Prof Duffy has a very sloppy criteria method and half the time you're wondering what the actual assignment is. She was extremely rude if you ever e-mailed for clarification. I'd recommend a different Prof.

If you do ok with teaching yourself then take this class. I took her for Management 4390 Online and it was not strenuous but there is an ongoing group simulation as well as a 2 part paper due and some quizzes. This is a doable class my suggestion would be to print out the course due dates so that you do not forget to complete assignments.

This class is not a blow off by any means. I got lucky and had a great group and we helped each other out in every way possible. Completely do-able, but it was a bit of a challenge. Professor Duffy always replied to our emails in a timely manner.

If you do not want to do the group presentation that most of the inclass MGMT 4390 have then take it online with this professor. The Glo-bus simulation is very time consuming but once you figure it out it is easy. The strategic audit is only 6-7 full pages single spaced & it is not hard at all. It is split in2 parts and there is a outline. NO TESTS

Tough class. It is NOT a blow-off . Professor tries to be overly organized which actually makes it harder to understand exactly what needs to be done. A million links off to the side. Simulation through Glo-bus is a lot of work, you basically run every aspect of a company. Quizzes open for 1 day. Strategic audit in 2 parts, VERY TIME CONSUMING

This class is challenging but doable. Teacher doesn't provide lecture materials and set up the class in groups... Most of the course takes place in Globus (Chapter quizzes, Simulation quizzes, simulation and 3-year plan). On top of that you have 2 papers (Strategic Audit). No extra credit is offered and is a tough grader, you have to work for it.

Awful professor. She does not teach you, you have to teach yourself. Everything is very unorganized. She has too many links to the side where you have to look in each to figure out what homework/assignment is due. GLOBUS is main grade, you have to do it every week (lot of work). Criticizes you if you ask a question instead of helping you. DONT TAKE

Absolutely horrible teacher! She takes forever to respond to an email, she won't give extra credit, she acts like she could care less if you pass or fail. She is no help to any assignments what so ever! You have to pay over $100 for a program that every assignment is on. Your simulation grade is based where you place in the final year & 2 papers.

I took her class Summer 2, I had no interest to take this class and was nervous hearing it was one of the hardest so I wanted to do it in 4 weeks instead of 16. The only thing I didnt like was things opened and closed the same day other than that the class was fun to interact with the different majors in your group and run a business.

Took this online & made an A, but the work load was ridiculous! There are multiple items due each week, comprised of homeworks, quizzes, GLO-BUS simulation every Thursday, strategic audit in 2 parts, etc. The only good thing about this course was that the audit is MUCH shorter/easier than the ones done in face-to-face courses. Very time consuming!

she pretty much reads out of the book except that you don't know it until you take the time to read it. if you take her in the morning she talks very loud and excited so if your not a morning class it isn't the class for you!!! Overall great teacher!
