Comment:
Dr. Daniels' class is difficult in nature, however, he does a great job at explaining things carefully. Topics may seem impossible at first appearance but he is very approachable. Go to him with questions and he is more than happy to help. This is not an easy class, but you will learn A LOT from it.

I've stats at the high school, undergrad, and grad level. Dr. Daniel is the best statistics professor I have experienced. Rather than "dumb down" stats, he explains intricacies with clarity. Thanks to Dr. Daniel, I now have a clearer understanding of the tests and the assumptions behind them, which gives me an advantage over others in my field.

Don't take this teacher. Pretty much everyone fails his class. He gets into his own world when teaching and its difficult to understand him. He is all over the place with all his corny jokes. Only certain people can understand him. Pretty crazy!

He makes his own "text books" - that you buy from the computer lab. He gets off topic a lot with random jokes but that is one of the few parts of the class I understood. I suggest starting a study group with people from your class at the begining and definetly go to the toutoring if you want to pass this class.

ever had one of those teachers who doesn't really know what they're talking about so spends the whole class telling stupid stories, and uses stupid subjective logic in grading (only the answer he memorized as being correct is given as such) - definitely favorites and non favorite students, and grades as such? well this is that guy.

Does pick favorites, and wow, they do seem to do better than average in the class. Is not clear, seems to degrade those who are not stats majors.

he picks class favorites - those students seem to excell. Very difficult to learn from - had a different stats professor the next year and she was 100% better!
